What is it the right is always saying about “the elites” or some dumb shit?  Who among Trump’s administration aren’t part of the wealthy ruling class?

“Cantor Fitzgerald CEO, oh yeah that guy is just like me!” -Anyone at a Trump Rally

Picturesque Italian village offers $1 homes to Americans trying to flee US after Trump victory

Be lying if I said I wasn't somewhat tempted. Next to Japan, Italy is the country I would most love to see. Don't know about living there though.

If I knew Italian, I would be seriously tempted.  Start over from scratch in a remote job, rebuild an old town.  Very pioneer of them.

His picks get worse and worse. Bye bye dept of education. Now there will be no standard of learning and teaching the south won the civil war will be perfectly fine. Craziest shit is the people wanting this the most are the same people opining how younger generations can’t read and write in cursive. They don’t have to worry about that anymore. Future generation won’t even know how to read

You’re going to see a LOT of remedial classes for adults.  Lot of demand for community colleges and GED’s.  Because when they don’t have it is when they’re going to realize they need it.

Lot of jobs in blue states where they’ll presumably still have standards.

Trying to figure out if that'd be a good way to piss off the Trump voters in the family if I get baited into any more arguments.

"You know everything they deregulate is going to have to get regulated by NY, so the only impact on you is higher state taxes to pay for it."

This whole situation reminds me of a movie I once saw called Idiocracy that I honestly thought was one of the craziest movies I'd ever seen. Now I'm not so sure and am sad to say it could not be so ludicrously farfetched after all.

Higher taxes do seem to upset Trump voters more than child sex trafficking.

Only on paper.  They’ve been legally separated for years, but yeah, no one in No Mercy for N64 should be near government.

This incoming administration is for entertainment purposes only it seems

except in the House where Mike Johnson declared transgender people must use the restroom of their biological sex.  Forever there was no policy on this but now that they will be swearing in an openly transgender Rep they decide to be hostile and discriminatory

Gross how all the republicans are protecting their statutory rapist by not releasing his ethics report.  It was the only reason Trump offered him the job to give him a get out of jail free card.

"I work in the auto industry, 3rd generation. I did not vote for Trump, however I have pretty good insight why a lot of people did. It goes way back to 2004ish or 05 a few years before the auto crisis. The big 3 was loosing a lot of money, so I wanna say wall st journal did a story and cnn, and fox News did a few stories. They claimed the American auto worker was making $60-$70 a hour when in reality it was $25 26ish. And their so expensive because of union blah blah, overpaid workers who press a button, and leave work only to come back to punch out. The union members were pissed not to watch cnn how it was all faked. Well years later, trump comes along and says what they seen cnn is fake news.  And that's why they hung on to them, and don't believe any media, and trump can do no wrong. One guy said "wow trump isn't afraid to work at McDonald's" not realizing it's all a bs political stunt."
