Could say the same for David Letterman with Trump's first term.  Even Letterman was stunned when he was told how often he had Trump on his show, giving him a national audience.

Colbert was running the late show for over a year by the time Trump won in 2016. If you're gonna blame Letterman like that, you might as well blame all of Hollywood. They were perfectly fine with him making frequent appearances in all sorts of awards shows, talk shows, etc.

POTUS changing the constitution via Tweet sure is an interesting precedent to attempt to set right as Trump is coming into office.

Its absolutely meaningless because its fairly settled law that this amendment isnt ratified, and would need to start from scratch if its supporters want to make it an actual amendment. But is sure is amusing watching the people who have been warning us about the collapse of democracy applaud this move.

No, this is Letterman giving him his start back in the 80's.  Joking about "Hey, can you get me a NBC Peacock rug for the stage?" (I think he did the same with Lee Iacocca, asking for a GE logo rug).  He's always said he didn't like the guy, but kept on giving him viewership for a total of 30 shows.  Yes, the rest of the media got on the bandwagon and someone thought - "Hey, let's give this guy a show!", but without Letterman he wouldn't have had as much visibility and those things may not have happened.

Biden can kick rocks and go the fuck away.

Fucked us straight into a second Trump term.

Just let me see what the Trumpster ends up doing about the government fraud and waste in the bloated, engorged federal budget.  He said he's going to fix that, and didn't mention enough details about how.

He was personally responsible for ADDING 25% to the National Debt. He is responsible for 1/4th of the debt and did that in 4 years.

And he's already said that he won't be lowering groceries after all because it's too hard and said that he wouldn't touch Medicare/Medicaid/Social Security but now those are the first things on his chopping block list because he wants to make it permanently illegal to tax the rich. He said shit that people like you believed in order to get your vote and now the leopards are getting ready to eat your face.

Funny how the people who clarito know what drives gasoline prices the loudest are usually clueless to how anything works

Supply and demand.

Demand greater than supply, prices up.

Supply greater than demand, prices down.

It's grade school economics and you apparently don't even know that much.

If that was the case, gas would have dropped significantly during the 2020 quarantines because PEOPLE WEREN'T DRIVING AROUND FOR NO REASON.

You are attempting to give people who do know better elementary school level lessons but you can't even remember 4 years ago let alone 40.

Oooh I get it now. I didn’t get where you were going at first either, but now I get it.
Howard Stern had Trump on his show many times as well way back in the 90s

What else uses fossil fuels?  They're all related.  Diesel trucks still had to distribute things to stores, people still had to use hvac, hot water, electricity, etc.

And yes, people were still driving as usual during the supposed lock downs.
