Duolingo for Japanese is garbage. I caught multiple mistakes for kanji readings. I don't trust it to refresh my Japanese.

I am using it for Spanish now. From what I heard, Duolingo is very good for Spanish, French, and German.

I am so glad that I was never a huge fan of Gaiman because some folks in Fantasy(reading/writing) are devastated. Yeah the site that posted the news is questionable, but it's easy not to rely on it once you consider the similarities and start searching on your own from there. Found references to whisper networks and Gaiman on social media going back to at least 2018. I see why it ran mostly under the radar. A lot of the folks talking about him being a sex pest were in publishing, working bookstores, or interns working in organizations he dealt with. 

I do think there was some inoculation for the people being nosy(me) during the Covid lockdown incident when he abandoned his baby for a period of time. If he could do all of that, he could do worse shit. This is definitely giving credence to the warning that famous folks heavily active on multiple social media sites are walking red flags. Can't remember where I heard that but I've seen it proven true multiple times since then.

I think I've fallen in love with the Spanish language. The spelling is so consistent, even though it's spoken in so many countries, the vowels are all pure like they are in Japanese, and it has such an interesting culture from things like pirates, Don Quixote, and the fountain of youth. 

Honestly, better to fall in love with a language than a human these days. 😭

Another interesting thing that Spanish shares with Japanese is the frequent dropping of pronouns in a sentence. In English, this often sounds colloquial or improper, but it is completely natural and grammatically correct in those two languages.

For one of my packages, the USPS tracking said it was delivered in/at my mailbox.

It was never in my mailbox. I never received it. So I tried filling out a form on USPS.com for a missing mail form. The website's broken and it won't work.

I don't think so. Many younger gamers like Breath of the Wild the most, and Majora's Mask has now taken quite a bit of attention from Ocarina of Time away, as gamers finally begun to appreciate it more.

I've been on psych meds for years, largely due to depression and anxiety, and then later PTSD. It's been so hard to get out of the hole I'd been shoved into. But I've done it, I'm finally actually getting better - I'm going to the gym, eating healthy, drinking water, and abstaining from alcohol. I'm now cleared to just...exist...without meds. I'm so happy I could burst.
