American politics the two political parties are quite internally diverse with opinions and views

This is a totally healthy party that's totally going to win elections for years to come

Taking a cursory glance at this first guy's Wiki was actually a bit... refreshing? Like, this one random Republican politician's biography doesn’t read like a Jeffrey Dahmer fanfic where he's managed to satiate the bloodlust through legislation.

fine.

FINE....i'll be your huckleberry.

i'm already balls deep.

you're mostly right. mostly.

my question is...are you a republican or a gay man that needs your rights protected? OR are you a gay republican protecting gay rights?

are you becoming a member of the rights group?

this isn't an internal struggle that is currently affecting the government.

high schoolers playing adult politics is ....

f.a.r.t.

I'm registered as a republican in Ohio but I'm not a card caring member of the log Cabin Republicans

and do you think, that the issues surrounding gay rights, on the republican side, is what is dividing them? (see OP)

Essentially there is a far right element of my political party that's trying to take control and trying to become the party.

Now what I'm saying is obviously there is going to be some people like myself disagree of far right and  far left totalitarianism.

For that reason I do not support Republican that are seeming to be taking lessons from Joseph Goebbels and Adolf Hitler

you went all around your elbow to get to your asshole with this one.

your party, the other guy's party, the party that doesn't have a chance, the fringe party: all absolutely ridiculous, in the grand scheme of things. we are in a literal present day babylon, where everyone is speaking the same language, but no one understands (wants to listen to reason). people acting like absolute idiots, and play like they don't completely understand, purposely, and with great pride in their idiocy,  and they are going to be the loudest about proclaiming their dislike, about anything that doesn't fit their narrative.

Trump really brought out the loons and they've created a separate faction in the Republican party.
It was only a matter of time before cracks showed.

The question is what happens now?  A number of Republicans have left the party because they're getting fed up with MAGA's bullshit.
Makes me wonder if MAGA is going to eventually completely replace the party.  On one hand, they're facist as fuck.  On the other, they're laughably incompetent.

In any case, it's probably better not to assume their incompetency won't prevent them from doing real damage.

I was going to point out that we already have that actively going on in ND when Lt. FART decided she was the pre-emptive heir to the Governorship but House Rep FART decided he wants to be Governor and now they are trying to see who can scream the loudest about how orange their noses are through neverending political commercials.

But I see we've moved on to log cabins.

What this is about (the stuff in the original post, not all the other stuff): Marjorie Taylor Greene is going to go thru with her quixotic attempt to oust Mike Johnson from the Speakership.

It's assumed Johnson will survive, but most Republicans are pissed they have to go through another vote for Speaker. Greene and all the Republicans who go along with her could go over a cliff on a bus, and all the other Republicans would be happy about it.

But yes, we probably will have another roll call vote.
