Also, seems they've come to a deal with the U.S. after Trump rolled back some of his demands. No security guarantee is included sadly. Knew they weren't gonna get that though, but they don't really have much choice but to agree I'm afraid else their refusal would surely be used as a justification for immediately pulling all support for them I'm sure.

This whole thing if just infuriating though. Trump's gonna give away the farm to Putin, declare victory with a peace deal that Putin will only abide by so long as it benefits him, which is only up until he's had time to replenish and rearm his forces before they make up some excuse to break the deal and go in and take all of Ukraine probably a year or two down the road. This is one of those times that I really, really hope I'm wrong, but I feel pretty certain I'm not.

OMG, I hadn't even thought about that before. You're right. We're probably gonna be boycotted by all of Europe and every other democratic country in the world.

Just finished watching a clip of Lindsey Graham saying he was proud of Trump and Vance, and that he doesn't think Zelensky is "redeemable". Hard to believe he was ever considered to be of a kind with a man like John McCain. It's just so disgusting how phony he is. How all of them are. No principles whatsoever anymore. Just the almighty dollar. That's all that matters to any of them.

I'm glad at least Zelensky didn't lower himself to do any kind of groveling before them. I'm also kinda happy he didn't end up signing that extortion deal, cuz ultimately whether he signs it or not, I don't think it'll make any difference to Ukraine's future. Pretty clear it's already been decided they're just gonna cut them off and are looking for whatever excuse they can to justify it.

Yeah, the way things are going, we'd deserve it if they do. Found this article and couldn't help but laugh to see them calling it the "Dictator Games" cuz I was thinking the exact same thing. Like that article says though, might be the IOC just decides to take the games away and have them in some other country. Holding them in Los Angeles during the peak of the wildfire season with how bad it's gotten lately, (and can only imagine three years down the road it'll be even worse) not exactly looking like the best idea in the world anymore anyway.
