almost nobody was using it, of those that were, a couple were creating confusion as to who was who, and we can still alter SNs kind of the same way we can dole out special ranks.  So we can still do it on a more controlled basis.  so didn't much see the reason for keeping it as a thing.  This way, if there's some SN creating confusion on the board, we can get rid of it without having to get rid of the main account it's attached to.  it's just easier to manage content overall when said content isn't up for constant flux.

 

and also, like I said, almost nobody used it.  so - those that still want their SNs changed can just ask and we can still do it.

 

basically gaining back a tiny bit of content control without giving up much.
