wacky1980
i just need the frost to leave the ground so we can bring in the plumber for our venue. he won't cut thru the alley and tap the water/sewer until the frost is out. at this rate, it won't ever happen.

Complete with work tables and everything else she needs.
wacky1980
see, that's what every backyard needs. a place to create and build and grow. especially if there's kids in the mix. i was just reading a study (but it's just one study! i get that) saying people who are more exposed to green and growing stuff as children tend to suffer from significantly less depression and anxiety as adults. 1

I have heard that too. And our boy loves being outside. We have three fountains in the backyard. Each with a pool. One with a bridge you can walk over. We have a huge patio, complete with electricity. We have several shops. One we are looking to expand, since it has water hook ups. We will be breaking ground for the garden soon too. We want to try making wine this summer, since we do have a small, very very small vineyard.

U telling me there's TWO springs bitch The division of the seasons seems arbitrary to me. Here, it always seems like fall is only like a month long (late October/early Novmber to Early December). This year fall started in I want to say late September (which I guess is abnormally normal), and then winter happened when it usually did... but then it got even COLDER for practically the entire month of February. I don't think I've ever experienced that before. February was practically "super winter" here. (super winter in comparison to normal winter here, all you non-Californians would laugh at me calling this super winter). Finally this past week it's starting to warm up. I get out of work at 4:30 AM, and finally there's no longer any frost or fog on my car windshield when I get out of work. It's still raining though, which is weird.

garbagepailcat
It finally stopped raining long enough to get out in the yard this past weekend. Did a bunch of weed pulling and brush clearing. This yard hasn’t been tended in years and is ROUGH, but I’ve got a little garden spot that’s ready to be tilled and another spot ready for my chicken coop. 👌🏻 Come up here and show me your ways. 😅

He got too heavy for the snow crust while pigging out on sunflower seeds and cratered into the drift. He's safe somewhere under the junipers right now but I wish I had been awake to see it. Judging by the explosive damage, he really spazzed his way out of there.
