Usually HR is useless, but that's the standard corporate way to handle personal disputes so that's why I suggested it. Old woman probably thinks she'll get something from doing this. If your boss knows you're a good worker then they won't pay attention to someone stirring up trouble. 1

Most companies these days have what is called an open door policy, and even if the company you are working for doesn't handle matters like this the same way you should still just voice your complaints to your supervisor. If she is your supervisor, and you feel you are really being treated unfairly TALK TO HER SUPERVISOR.
