I know what some of you do but a lot of you I have no idea. Im a real estate agent. You need a house or a commercial property? I can hook you up.

Even if you're a stay at home. That's real work. I am interested.

Direct care worker at a residential facility for people with disabilities. AKA glorified babysitter/ass wiper.

We have 11 houses we operate on our campus and depending on where I'm working I may or may not have to wipe people's asses but the normal house I'm assigned to I do since all but one of the clients that live there is pretty low functioning. But then some of the houses all the clients are higher functioning and take care of themselves and even take care of all the house chores like cleaning up and making dinner. So when I work on one of those houses I basically get paid to sit around and watch TV/look at my phone all day and occasionally redirect a client when they start getting mad about something or don't want to do what they're supposed to be doing.

Sounds pretty sweet, except the ass wiping.

Parts of it are. It's a state job so it pays pretty well, and for the most part it's a pretty chill job.

But with it being a residential facility it's open 24/7/365. Right now I'm stuck working 2nd shift and I work most weekends and holidays. Also sometimes clients can get violent. I've only ever had minor injuries but some people have to go out for weeks or even months due to injuries from clients. Saw one girl get her shoulder dislocated once.

Dang, you need to find a different job. With a few classes you could be an instructional designer. Better money and a whole lot safer. Social work fits into the whole ed design world.

Been trying since like, last September. It's hard with just a Bachelor's to find something that pays as much as I make now. Don't know if I can afford to go back to school right now or if I'd even have time given my schedule. I work 2-10pm and sometimes I like to go into work early since I'm part-time and need the extra hours.

Stuff I didn't study for, unless you count learning how to code in Assembly, which I've never used.  Mostly Teradata SQL & Microsoft VBA, a little MySQL.  Might get a shot at GCP.

I thought about getting into coding and programming once. Then I remembered how mind numbing it would be for me.

I've been chasing fires and doing home restoration for about 4 months now.

Pay is really good for the low bill life that I live.
