Yeah, I know how eBay works. Lol.

Last post for me in here. (until the reveal. lol)

What in the fucking fuck is it?

And, since you brought it up . . .  What did you pay for such a rare and fantastic item!?!?!?

My winning bid was what it's worth to me.  I like the nostalgia it brings - to a time when everybody minded their own business and didn't live on false excuses to impose their choices on everybody else.

You mean the shit you do on a daily basis with your posts?

I'm just putting the stuff out there.  Whether you follow it or not is up to you.  I'm not the one ramming bullshit laws based on bullshit through the state or federal legislature just because I see somebody being happy.

Uggh it doesn't look ceramic to me it looks like wax or soap. I know making soap into crazy shapes was big at

at one point, but wtf would that be and why does it have a plug? Is it the prototype electric air freshener...

Anyway I tried to do a reverse image search, on several dif platforms nothing can find anything, I keep getting

Ceramic.fakepath or something like that in the results so good show..

This particular item is hardly trash.  I had to out bid fifteen people to get it from eBay.  Starting bid: $30.

So, you wrestled some homeless men in a dumpster for your trash.

If you don't know what this is, you're younger than forty.

Why is it covered in and surrounded by ashes?

Is it a cigarette lighter, or is that just the condition of everything in your apartment?

Well you see the ash, that's why you smell smoke right now.

OK, I give up.

You already said that it wasn't one of those air purifiers they used to have to get rid of cigarette smoke, and that's the only commonality that I can think of between the places you listed during that time period. I either patronized or worked at all of the types of places you mentioned during the 70's and 80's, and I'll be damned if I've ever seen one.

SO WHAT IS IT ALREADY???

Lol @ people itt that think Packard will tell you what it is.

This is the sandwich game all over again.

I already warned them....I can't believe people still fall for this.

It's TRASH!!!!

You're right this is all bout him feeling superior cuz he knows what garbage is.

You know how old I am and I'm clueless. Showed my bf he's 50 had no clue.

I'm chalking this up to the tootsie roll pop syndrome cuz the world may never know  >:D

I'm still wagering it could be used to bludgeon him. So, is it really trash?

Well, congratulations on the winning guess.  Like nobody else picked up the damned clues.

You wanted us to observe your squalor?  Seems like a poor tactic but let's see how this works out for you.

I don't know how reverse searching works.  Try it with this image.  BASS_DANCE.jpg

Psst... eBay isn't a dumpster, it's an online auction.

Isn't this definitive proof that you aren't really Packard? Assuming you really bought via eBay, you'd have to use a credit/debit card, or minimally a bank account. Both of which Packard was strongly opposed to ever doing, you dumb hack.

I'm not opposed to credit cards per se.  I'm opposed to running up charges that can't be paid off on the very first shot.  And yes, I have a checking account.

Checking dumpsters account...WOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAH.

See, that.....That was a feeble joke.

It's just a stovetop burner that's always on and in safe normal places like a dark pub, crowded waiting room, or dank apartment full of trash and catpiss fumes.

Posted

So, it's a cigarette lighter?

A plug in lighter, that totally doesn't sound like a fire hazard.....

It's not always on.  When you lift it and tilt it slightly, it lights.  If it's knocked over accidentally, the safety switch trips and it's as good as unplugged.

Wow!

That's only the second dumbest way of making it work!

Crisis averted!

It may seem dumb by modern standards, but back in the 1930's we were not a nation of people who wanted to be in bubble wrap all the time.  That's also why cars didn't have seatbelts.

They didn't have seatbelts back then because the dang vehicles would shake themselves to hell if they went over 30. :D

I started working in the hospital  back when patients could smoke in their rooms and we could smoke at the nurses' station (after visiting hours.) I have never seen anything that even vaguely resembled that. I think you need to revise the age up to 70, possibly higher.

Also, the next time, could you put something next to the objet du jour for scale? Thank you.

Ah yes, an era in which people were dumbasses who regularly put their lives at risk for no gain.  Much like smoking, come to think of it.

My parents couldn't even tell me wtf that is. I bet it wasn't even very high in demand when it first came out.

ofcourse that makes a lot of antique things into collectors item since they become rare when production stops.

whatever.. I wouldn't give a face down penny I found on the street for the thing. If I stumble across one I know

who to sell it to though I guess..

Heidi Schoop ... thing.

The one I found does pole stuff probably.

So, is there a search engine that does this?  How does it work?  Does it scour the whole internet, looking for similar shapes and colors?

Packard nobody here is going to tell you how to image search because it's an extremely simple thing to figure out on your own and you not being able to do that is just too funny

It was the only way to find this forum.  STFU

You were linked to it.  You fucked up back when you said I was spamming the wrong guys FB inbox.  Like how would you even know that unless it was YOUR inbox.  You are a stupid, stupid man and you can STFU.

No, I'm pretty sure they had actual lighters in 1930. Tilt-to-use for an electric lighter seems dumb even by '30s standards.

Did you forget the part where you showed a screenshot of an FB inbox?
