One of my closest friends is a city commissioner, so I end up helping out by volunteering for quite a few charitable events. I've done the countys food bank donation drives and food bank give outs. Volunteer labor for many of the neighborhood revitalization projects, park building, and various cleanups including beaches, rivers, parks, and neighborhoods. Donate to local senior care every paycheck through united way. Volunteer "curator" at the art museum for many events. And I also volunteer whenever I can for any of the donation drives/charity events that the citys child abuse awareness and prevention council puts together. Idk, my mom kinda raised us doing whatever, whenever, we could help with that sort of thing. So I just sign on for whatever when someone lets me in on it whats happening or when I am contacted because I've volunteered before.

i have to agree with the others when they said, phones, they should be used in such scenarios. if i wasn't able to be reached for some reason or another, i would prefer nothing. i say that because its usually the beer or specific kind of kombucha i asked for is out... i am WAY pickier about those than any other beverage and that shit is spensive comparatively, to have someone show up with something i won't even drink.

my consistent favorite place to go on vacation to is New Orleans. humid weather, best food, music, art, culture, and my brothers from another mother live there. my favorite vacation i've been on was my last trip to Denver. so many outdoor adventures! hiking, white water rafting, kayaking, and mountain camping. had a lovely time in the city as well. TEDx, comedy works, art museum w sergE, 1up barcade, breweries, art in the streets, art galleries, buying art from a bar basement, long walks in lovely parks outside of the city, and best friend hangs for weeks!
