no, that was horrible not only was it tedious as heck, but legitimate people would have to wait for one of us and they wouldn't get a notification - there are a bunch of people who probably fell in that trap and never came back

they pop in faster than I can whack'em and updating the bot protection would require $$$

i was gonna say something about bleeding the system but... yeah.

I've always found the idea of world-building like this super interesting, but I've never been able to follow through - any time I've tried, I'd start envisioning big-picture and then spend way too much time and energy fixated on minor details and then get distracted or lose interest in following through.

I think, had I put on actual shoes instead of my slippers, I might have pushed myself to stay outside more than a minute. But with the wind whipping and the snow still all powdery to get blown up into the air I was like 'ehhhhhhh'.
