that's why i'm mad you can't change the rules without a new lobby
i am definitely on the party end of the spectrum, so i get bored with the neutral competitive stuff and want to switch it up, just like how he got bored with items and regular stages

the only newcomer i've messed with more than one or two matches is K. Rool. I think my brain is at a point where absorbing new characters and retaining old ones is getting difficult.
I noticed that. Is it based on the difficulty of the level you unlocked it on or is it like character specific? Like is raising the difficulty on classic mode gonna make the Challenger harder once you beat the boss?

We got some smart folks who might help narrow down what's wrong
i don't necessarily mean gen 1 as much as the most recent main games, because there's been so much added on top that is considered part of the main package
but i get what you're saying
the criticism i always see of the game is that by stripping down aspects of the traditional pokemon gameplay to match pokemon go, the game kind of lacks the depth of a regular pokemon game. do you find that noticeable at all or is it totally cool with you?
