In Le_Guig's defense, she asked for a reroll and no one responded for a few days. I or someone on staff will help with the organizing/backend next year, including making sure there are clear guard rails to prevent mess-ups. New accounts won't be allowed to participate, we will be more strict about removing trolly posts from the thread during signups, and I'm sure there are more things that will come to mind over the next eleven months to help neko make it a better event.

A load-bearing beam collapsed that supported the Media folders, repairmen worked night and day to repair the damages and ensure that structural integrity was restored. However if anyone has an opinion on layout, the repair crew is still packing their things.

Generally my answer is "whichever gets me the least amount of things to do" but yeah, def if one puts in all the effort to prepare dinner then everyone or someone else should be willing to take care of cleanup.
