one of my good friends has been downright nasty with ness for 20 years - even though he punches way above my weight class and enjoys the competitive scene and stuff, i managed to pick up a couple things here and there

lobbies can have up to 6 people. i think i gotta add him as a friend though

that's why i'm mad you can't change the rules without a new lobby i am definitely on the party end of the spectrum, so i get bored with the neutral competitive stuff and want to switch it up, just like how he got bored with items and regular stages

yeah - i changed the rules cuz one of the guys wanted to play tryhard stale, so set your stage choice to battlefield form

yeah you can't change rulesets without restarting the lobby, which is stupid

gotta make a new room to change the rules - it'll just be open to friends, no code

I think we're gonna open a room in a little while, if I'm not the one who opens it I'm gonna ask for it to be a public room with an entry code that I can share.

the only newcomer i've messed with more than one or two matches is K. Rool. I think my brain is at a point where absorbing new characters and retaining old ones is getting difficult.

I noticed that. Is it based on the difficulty of the level you unlocked it on or is it like character specific? Like is raising the difficulty on classic mode gonna make the Challenger harder once you beat the boss?

I was told there is a specific first appearance order when unlocking in regular matches:
