"Free Hockey Chicken" was a publicity stunt back when [adult swim] had an online community. They had an employee who wore a chicken suit and they kept him in the office and streamed him on cam on the adult swim website for I think a couple of weeks until the message boards had gotten a certain number of members, I believe. He posted on the asmb and users could chat with him and ask him questions and naturally they just kind of migrated to the other folders and stuck around the forum. AND NOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY.

It's a play on words, see. The phrase "out of my league" typically implies that someone is either too attractive to date the speaker or otherwise well overqualified for a job or other situation. In THIS instance, though, I decided to apply the term more literally than figuratively by posting a picture of someone who is in a professional sports league while I am not in the league. Thus, she is "out of my league." I mean in the figurative sense too it still applies, however the literal interpretation was the point of the joke.

It's okay. Most people don't understand my outside jokes either.

Teaching is a beast, but it's a good start that you're second guessing yourself. It's better to be in the state of realizing you don't know everything, because that will make you more effective at teaching what you do know, and as you learn things you'll be more eager to share and teach those things too.
