  1. Just looked it up but they ended up posting some of them on Insta. Some of the better ones kinda remind me of the old anime bumps.
  2. Metaronda likes One Piece
  3. Looking into it, the Switch version looks like it’d be mostly digital around $49 because the physical ones are hard to come by.
  4. Oh man, can’t wait for another edgy DC superhero movie!
  5. I believe both the remake and the sequel are on the Switch. The sequel's coming out in July, but I think the remake was ported over a couple years ago. https://store.na.square-enix-games.com/en_US/product/633806/neo-the-world-ends-with-you-switch https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/the-world-ends-with-you-final-remix-switch/ I do remember emulating TWEWY, but I should probably get it for a console because doing the DS finger swipes on an emu was rough back in the day.
  6. Pins exist in the anime, but only the ones necessary for moving the plot like the pins boss characters have or the ones reapers have access to. They don’t have the ones you can casually collect though and there hasn’t been a mention of Tin Pin Slammer 9 episodes in.
  7. I’m just pissed that the only place around here that has birria tacos is an overpriced chain restaurant that I know bastardized it because you only go there for their tequila collection and the fancy atmosphere.
  8. I had a great time with TWEWY. It’s one of the few games around (along with Jet Set Radio and P5) that does really well with creating a hip atmosphere that feels authentic. The anime isn’t half bad, but it does miss the humor and doesn’t geek out as much about pins or Shibuya’s attractions.
  9. Free For All Free 4 All Free 4 4 Has there been a four this whole time!?
  10. Sunshine is the worst because you see him cry out to the heavens before he dissolves in a body of water. It’s haunting.
  11. Who goes to a party, looks at this, and is like “Ooh, that looks yummy! You’ve done it again!”?
  12. Or just brew it in a Pourover or French Press.
  13. Shūzō Oshimi is the author, Nakamura is the girl that ends up roping the main guy into rebellion in Aku no Hana
  14. The manga for Aku no Hana is a dark philosophical school life kinda story. But at the same time, Nakamura can be immature at times. I’d recommend Happiness from the same author, but that’s a lot more heavily rooted in supernatural horror if that’s ok.
  15. I was gonna say Onani Master Kurosawa, but I was racking my head because it shares the anxiety of isolation from Punpun but I don’t remember it being as surreal. It looks like it follows the OP’s criteria though for something that’s dark, psychological, and reality-based so it could be a good shot.
  16. Imagine if Mayweather did a full middle finger to everyone by giving his first loss to a YouTuber.
  17. Why are we still here? Just to suffer? Every night, I can feel my leg… and my arm… even my fingers. The body I’ve lost… the comrades I’ve lost… won’t stop hurting… It’s like they’re all still there. You feel it, too, don’t you?
  18. My rule of thumb would be to look up manga influenced by Dazai’s No Longer Human. Zetsubou-sensei is kinda close but that’s more of an observational gag comedy with dark surreal elements.
  19. I still have a lot of work to do on the novel I want to write, but in the meantime, I’m still blogging about anime and playing vidjas. I think the blog that usually kept with just ended up taking more time as I’ve been doing some stay-at-home work.
