  1. For me it's not campfires, but rather sitting with a group of friends with at least one of them smoking.
  2. I wanted to post itastelikerona but he already basically made the joke, and I don't know why I didn't see that coming a mile a way.
  3. Hey @Sawdamizer I don't suppose you kept that pic?
  4. As far as Nick Cage goes, I really liked The Rock.
  5. Face/Off was a surprisingly good movie.
  6. Why thank you.
  7. I know his act well enough to know he's talking about a Hot Pocket.
  8. Goddamn I wanted to make that joke. Should've known that was the direction you were going in all along.
  9. Robocop's pretty good, but it's more focused on being edgy and less on telling a great story relative to Terminator.
  10. I mean really, "empress of ice cream" already gets the job done. Bouvre - Empress of eating an entire tub of ice cream in one sitting
  11. I don't know if I have any. I'm not much of a movie guy. I think I'm more likely to hate movies that everyone loves. What about Sgt. Bilko with Steve Martin? I loved that one. Up Periscope with Kelsey Grammar? I liked that one a lot too. I have no idea what the consensus is regarding these movies, as they are literally never talked about. My friend really likes Howard the Duck and loved it as a kid. Doesn't that movie have a reputation for being one of the worst Hollywood movies of all time?
  12. Just listened, and damn, that was pretty cool, I hear a little Ozzy in the vocals, but also a variety of other cool influences.... Not only Ozzy but also Eric Wagner of Trouble in the vocals, Endtyme era Cathedral in the rhythm guitars, I can't quite put my finger on what the slow mournful guitar solo reminds me of, but probably one of the Peaceville 3 (Paradise Lost, Anathema, My Dying Bride). Thanks for this. Got to check out these guys further.
  13. If your major is history and your minor is computer science, how come this semester is so stacked with tech classes? Maybe it'd be less stressful if you took 2 classes toward your major and 2 toward your minor?
  14. Even though I've never seen it, I can give you several serious reasons: The appeal wasn't the plot of what happens to the ship, it is the tragic romance between Leo's character and Kate Winslet's character. It was hyped as featuring a real life surviver of the Titanic, which was a huge selling point. All the little girlies loved Leo because he was "sooooooooooooooooooooo cute." (This movie's hype was the first I ever heard of him and it amazes me how he grew to be a serious, credible actor popular with, well, pretty much everybody) That stupid Celine Dion (cover) song that was massively popular probably helped propel it too. Oh yeah, quotable quotes: "I'm king of the world!" And didn't "Draw me like one of your French girls" come from Titanic too?
  15. I'm even saying Star Trek sucks. I'm saying "normies" don't watch them and have no intention to.
  16. I had a psychology class where the teacher taught that to us and had us do it in class. I couldn't do it because holding my breath for 7 seconds (I think he actually said 8 seconds) is EXTREMELY hard for me to do, and actually accomplishing it there is no way in fucking hell I could exhale slowly and calmly, so I exhale rapidly and it leaves me not even remotely relaxed. Then I try to do it again and I can't hold my breath as long as I did the last try.
  17. I'm not 100% on Fatchemist, but replacing Doom with Moob was brilliant. 😆
  18. A) Don't matter to me, you've posted recent selfies and you are attractive. B) What about reposting the picture in question? 😝
  19. Normally I agree wholeheartedly with this, and I enjoyed avatar but it wasn't THAT good... However, the one time that a movie lived up to its massive hype for me, was The Dark Knight, and specifically Heath Ledger. After that massive fucking hype he got I was so completely shocked that he lived up to it 100%, lol. Don't know if you'd agree though.
  20. I believe that was me and Sorce. 😁
  21. Titanic The Matrix Braveheart Literally all the Harry Potter movies Basically any horror movie ever made EXCEPT: Night of the Living dead (original and 80s remake) Halloween (original) and one of the other Halloween movies, H20, I think? Finding Nemo Shrek (any) Any Toy Story after the first one The Lion King Any movie that has Minions in it Jaws There's got to be countless more, including ones that have also already been named in this thread, but I think a lot of people are taking too much liberty with the word "everyone" in "Movies everyone has seen." The original Star Trek movies? That's nerd shit. Nothing wrong with nerd shit, but "normies" don't watch that shit, meaning they're hardly movies "everyone" has seen.
  22. I've never lived in a house with cockroaches (we've had other infestations) but for a week my family vacationed in Hawaii, and instead of renting a hotel we rented a beachfront house. One night there was a giant fucking cockroach in my room petrifying me. I begged my dad to get rid of it, but his response was more or less, "This is Hawaii, get used to it" (He was born in Hawaii and lived there until the age of 14), but I couldn't get over it and asked to switch rooms. He said the only other option was the living room couch, but there are geckos crawling on the walls. I was like, "I'LL TAKE IT!" My dad figured that since the roach freaked me the fuck out (which it definitely did) the geckos would too, but I enjoyed watching the geckos crawl along the walls. Geckos are cool in my book. But fuck the one from Geico and his fucking cockney accent.
  23. I don't think any pizza places give any shits about the Italian-ness of their delivery people.
