It's one of the many personal medical mysteries I plan to solve if I ever see a doctor again (no one in my family knows my blood type, so I assume there's no point in asking them about vaccination histories)

When I was a kid I read about chicken pox in some Judy Blume book or w/e, and the concept of a "pox party". When I asked more about it I vividly remember being told I would definitely get it, but then never did. I only recently realized how relatively recently the vaccine came to the US and that before my generation, it kinda sounds like it was just an accepted part of life. But then again, I was born before the recommended vaccinating age so I'm also concerned no one told me I never got it and it's just a matter of time. What about u?

I like wood laminate (what i got now) for the spill/dropping stuff/emesis ease of clean up aspect, but a decent carpet is so much more luxurious to sleep on.

Ive had a bedframe and mattress in my house for over a month and I've yet to set it up. It's been so long since I slept on one I'm worried I won't remember how.

Go to the best/worst flea market you can find to look at all the shitty/cool stuff, and debate if you can squeeze $12 out of your budget to spend on a crossbow, or a sack of hand made incence that doesn't come with any written indication of its intended odor. Touch a lot of stuff while you're there for the thrill of living dangerously (risk of bedbugs).

I hate when that happens bc in my mind the least a mouse should be able to handle, as a mouse, is not just running at me with full abandon.

I wanted to make a thread about AMVs that I can clearly remember from 10+ years ago (NGE vs KMFDM, and a Cowboy Bepop one for mayonaise, specifically), but it turns out many of them don't exist anymore, which I expected but didn't like discovering. The only time I drink gin is when I've run out of my own liquor and go after my roommate's. It's brilliant because if I get sick I can blame it on the godawful taste, but I usually end up sobering up instead bc it's not quite as strong and I gotta drink it slow, and tbf that whole ordeal does tend to put me in a bad mood.

It plays itself to a certain set of oft crippling mental definencies more than medical crime dramas (which I also watch) and cooking based competitions (these too), to the point where it's easier to just keep watching it.

Feelings. We've all had one at some point. Just like. I threw all caution to the wind and, even though the screen didn't cover it completely, slept with my window cracked, and I feel like it's a nice day. People never shoulda stopped living in caves with the fresh air and the cave diseases, probably. I'm having a nice time pretending this is the start of a long, and gentle spring (great anime watching weather), and not the precursor to new and disastrous weather events I've never fully considered before.

I have some busted electronics around. They're harder to just use as a shelf or chair, but they're there.
