If you view an idea as a threat, think very carefully on how best to defeat it. Censorship only serves to legitimize when used unnecessarily.

Call it whatever you like. We've never objected before, and We're not about to start now.

You don't have to buy tickets when you use astral projection.

madison got pinkeye so therefore will miss her recital

You are quite welcome. Also somewhat dubious and tenuously related: https://www.vice.com/en_us/article/3bkmyv/can-you-kill-someone-with-farts-971 -
Satan is the equal and opposite of God
Hornshire replied to death_by_motorboat's topic in Free-For-All
Most of it isn't. But there are a few kernels of truth. More than three spatial dimensions probably exist. And you definitely miss out on opportunities if you can't dance, to reggae or otherwise. -
We saw it on Thursday though...

We've heard that you can catch pinkeye if someone farts on your pillow. We don't know if that's true. Or relevant. But there it is. -
What does that convert to in ramen noodles?

Pretty sure the proper response is to roll a dollar bill into a tight bamboo-like pike and stab them with it.

We keep a healthy dose of reality on Our bedside table. That should probably do the trick.

we have reputation scores, but i want to go a little deeper
Hornshire replied to death_by_motorboat's topic in Free-For-All
Eh. We're generally critical in most conversation. But that's usually detail oriented. When it comes to a big picture portrait of someone in particular, We tend to lack a coherent view of them, due in part to apathy. -
Probably not worth.

We're actually a set of nesting dolls. And though it is fantasy-themed, none of Us are trolls.

If you want to do the work, We're not going to tell you not to. But these sorts of things tend to be drama magnets, so be ready for that also.

What do you think your personality would taste like?
Hornshire replied to SwimModSponges's topic in Free-For-All
Coffee. Or maybe Lime. Anything bitter, really. -
Why are people so stupid when it comes to driving in the snow
Hornshire replied to Swimmod_Luna's topic in Free-For-All
Because, clearly, they've never seen this phenomenon before. Not when it happened last year. Nor the year before that. Nor the year before that. Nor... -
having a cupboard full of dead cats is easier to explain then this
Hornshire replied to Phillies's topic in Free-For-All
But really. What kind of retard looks at a cupboard full of dead cats and goes "What's up with that?"? Come on, now. -

Wait. Why would you ever need to explain a cupboard full of dead cats? -
is it fair to say someone has too many kids
Hornshire replied to death_by_motorboat's topic in Free-For-All
Human biology is lagging quite a bit behind modern cultural standards. When she dies due to complications from child birth, then you'll know that she had too many. -
Left. We're inclined to believe that whoever made the sign on the left spent their time doing more worthwhile things than an over-hyped sales pitch, and thus are more worthy of Our patronage.

the gods have laid a miserable fate upon us...
Hornshire replied to Phillies's topic in Free-For-All
Not quite. What We're saying is that you cannot move a knight to e5 when it's on b2. And you certainly cannot make that move if you are, in fact, playing Monopoly. That Zeni isn't going to get laid has less to do with the fact that he is Zeni, and more to due with that he continues to conduct himself in the way we have come to expect him to; i.e. the failure is in his strategy, and not his starting position. Some things are beyond one's control. Those are not things worth expending effort on. -
would you return something you stole 25 years later?
Hornshire replied to death_by_motorboat's topic in Free-For-All
If We were to "steal" something, it would be because We have determined that it rightly belongs to Us, and so are really just collecting Our property. As such We find it hard to imagine We would feel any regret, let alone a reversal of who the true owner ought to be. That being said, We have not claimed an object in such a manner for a very, very long time. On the other hand, if We were to discover that We were inadvertently in possession of another's property We would want to return it as soon as feasible. -

Hornshire replied to Phillies's topic in Free-For-All
We have read a great many things. All written by fallible creatures with only the narrowest perspective of the system they proclaim to know. They have tried their best to describe what they see, and We in turn try Our best to discern what is true. You play the hand you're dealt. There is no option. -
Do you mean like a typo? We've seen that a few times. Presumably, one could call the publisher and alert them so that it may be addressed in later editions. But it's not like they're going to replace copies already printed.
