People are gross. But if Our options are that or starve, We'll do what need be.

Optimism itself isn't about being helpful. It's about practicing shifting your perspective. And that ability can be extraordinarily helpful.
-
How about this instead? You let the optimism flow. Maybe even embrace it. Get yourself feeling good and high. That way, when the inevitable fall comes, it will hurt that much more. And next time, you won't have to put in any effort, because you'll have the scars to remind you, never again.

Would you stay with someone that cheated on you?
Hornshire replied to That_One_Guy's topic in Free-For-All
It depends. If said cheating was the end result of an underlying problem that could be addressed, reducing the likelihood cheating would happen again, there's a discussion to be had and We could be convinced. If it was simply just because they're a scummy person then We're finished. End of story. -
Got one of my coworkers to come here and read my fanfictions.

The moral We're inferring here is that no good can come from your fanfics being read. -
I'm thinking about doing something I swore I'd never do.
Hornshire replied to Cau's topic in Free-For-All
People change their minds. It happens. If you make a promise to someone, and want out, you just need permission from whomever you made it to. Since in this case, it was yourself, just allow yourself to do it. Ethical dilemma solved. Though We would advise you to consider why you swore against it in the first place, and what has happened to shift your perspective on that thing's merits. -
I think I'd be great at directing a soap opera TV series
Hornshire replied to Zenigundam's topic in Free-For-All
Try it, then. Let us know how well it works out. -
If pressed to pick just one, We would probably say iguanadon. [thumbs-up emoji] Close second is deinonychus. There really isn't much to these particular dinosaurs themselves that explain Our strong affinity for them, but rather it has more to do with Our personal history of learning about them. We were assigned iguanadon for an assignment in fourth grade, for example. And We had a deinonychus toy before anything else so that's always stuck. Also because We like Jurassic Park style velociraptors way more than actual velociraptors. But really, We don't have an actual favorite, and We think that's okay. This exercise may be useful in clarifying your opinions on what is or is not a desirable trait, but don't fret too much about not having concise answers to vacuous questions.

Grave of the Fireflies.

That's sweet, dear. But you really need to read some better comics if that's the case.

Have you ever talked to a girl at a bar and then...
Hornshire replied to Zenigundam's topic in Free-For-All
For starters, cool is subjective. Interesting too, but to a lesser extent in Our opinion. So what you view in your mind as those things isn't necessarily true for someone with normal brain function. But also, those things aren't even good indicators of compatibly. A lot of people find serial killers to be quite interesting, but do not want to spend any time with them. Likewise, most people don't create fantasies revolving around being weak, pathetic, and clueless. The fact that you do is actually rather interesting. But it doesn't at all make Us want to be close with you in any way. -
don't you remember you told me you loved me, bebeh
Hornshire replied to Naraku4656's topic in Free-For-All
No. We don't remember that at all. -
Yes. Because currently, both options are the same.

We think you can just view the post without messing with your list. It functions more or less like a spoiler tag. Not entirely sure because We've never felt the need to put someone on an ignore list. So hypothetically, if someone was awful enough to warrant Our shunning, We would continue to shun them for all eternity regardless.

All throughout school, We wore a hat every day. Mostly ball caps, but occasionally a fisher hat or something else. We don't much wear them these days, but We did pick up a rather cute cadet hat not too long ago. We've been kicking around the idea of a big floppy sun hat the past couple summers, but have yet to go for it.

Do you ever forget what you're doing in the shower?
Hornshire replied to Cau's topic in Free-For-All
To be fair, since We're not shaving Our legs anytime soon, may as well give them some extra luster and volume. -
Do you ever forget what you're doing in the shower?
Hornshire replied to Cau's topic in Free-For-All
Typically, when We're done showering, Our head and shoulders smell like apricot, and Our knees and toes smell like lavender. One day last week, We got out smelling like apricot all over.
