Captain Marvel - 7/10 Internet trolls and crybabies aside (speaking of, where did they run off to?) I enjoyed this one. Not the best, but it was entertaining all the way through. Would love to see more done with this character. Us - 6/10 I really wanted to like this one, but it fell short for me. I was honestly on board until the last 15 minutes or so, but I'll avoid spoilers. Speaking of, the big twist? Saw that coming from a mile away. By the first 10 minutes I already knew what it was going to be. That was a let down. And I get the social commentary and the whole us vs. them thing and it really was a well crafted movie, but I think it went a little over it's own head. I hate to compare it, but Get Out was way better. Also Lupita is so god damned gorgeous. Good lord woman.

So we actually had a lot of the old Star Wars toys and the smaller G.I. Joe ones, too. Dad sold the Star Wars stuff in the 90s for chump change, and then the Joe's he just stuffed in a duffel bag and dropped off at a charity store. Subsided rage aside, I do wish he would have at least sold them for more. As for stuff I wish I still had, I would have liked to have kept my DBZ stuff. Nothing crazy valuable but a lot of rare stuff. I had misprint figures (like a black-haired Majin Vegeta) and limited edition sets we got from Japan. Had practically every Irwin Toys figure, including ones like Tapion and the Rejuvenation Chamber with the Golden Goku figure. I'd also like to have all my Zoids back.

The servers out here make minimum wage on top of their tips, which isn't how things are everywhere. Most of them make as much or more than anyone in the kitchen, including the Executive Chef, depending on tips. If I didn't hate people so much I would have become a server myself. We're talking upwards of $100+/hour depending on tips, activity, and location. Nevermind the fancy places on The Strip where customers need to reserve a table, adhere to a strict dress code, and pay $2,000+ per person. No clue what servers at those places make. That being said, when I was in Texas, the servers made like $2/hour so they needed those tips.

Oof yea, same thing has happened to me. A lot of people mock my taste in music totally unprovoked. Nowadays it doesn't get to me, but when I was younger it hurt. I was even dragged to concerts to hear "real music" and I hated every second of it. People are just dicks about music some times. It's one of the most personal preferences you can have in this life and I guess a lot of people don't get that.
