I had discussed with Luuv about using the forum as a sort of test audience or supplementary platform for creativity. That includes the graphic novel I'm working on, which was a part of what he and I were thinking of. I wouldn't want this to be my primary platform; I'd have my own website and social media for that, but it was nice to consider sharing early ideas and content with people I sort of knew. Likewise, creative competitions would be great. We've done a writing one here and we used to do other things on the [as] boards, like poetry, art, and even videos. Curating those types of things would go a long way without needing financial incentive or setting up shop.

I think we should implement a feature that does not allow new accounts to make threads, at least not outside maybe the Introduction/Help areas for x amount of hours or days. Especially with ole Rain Boi out there spamming it up.

Maybe even a bit higher on that post requirement. I don't know, I certainly don't have all the answers. It can be fun here, but sometimes things get way too personal and out of hand, even if you moderated the normal folders.

I hear you both, but the vitriolic nature of many a thread/user is not something you'd want on the vanguard here. I'm certainly a part of that problem, myself, but you really would need to seriously change things around here lest you invite new members that would just do the same or leave because of it.

Not to be a naysayer, but I wouldn't do any of this.

Thank you. It just came off as a loosely tied together improv romp. I did laugh a couple times early on but then the jokes kept dragging on and the movie's tone became totally nebulous because every one was trying to be the comic relief.
