It's been a fairly decent couple of days but tomorrow through the weekend it goes full ass again. with Canadian wildfire smoke. 

It gets so bad the whole area looks like an old fashioned Mexican film - everything smoked out and orange.

Chicago's south side got 3-6 in of rain in a couple hours.  Lots of flooded streets & under viaducts.  More rain coming tonight & tomorrow.  70s coming when we flip to August (supposedly).

Yesterday we got up to the 100F+ heat index and it was our turn for rain that parked above us.  3.11" in an hour.  This morning, the sky is bright orange and there's distant thunder.  Another 100F+ day.

Organizational picnic today.  90F & humidity in the 70s.  People playing "bags", frisbee, volleyball, shooting baskets...then coming back under the canopy and complaining they were hot.

They must have had a surplus of vodka, because my Tito's & Lemonade was 4/5s vodka.

We are looking at raising heat and an air quality warning that starts today and goes until Saturday frickin' evening because the heat dome is going to hold all that wildfire smoke in place. -.-;

This thing tried to slip in under cover of wildfire smoke (Chicago currently has the worst air quality in the world).  Either they're landing at the nearby airport (1 mi away from where I work) or they want to stop for some fresh made Fruit Roll-Ups (~.5 mi away).  It's going to be covering Lollapalooza

Past couple days i got kinda used to sitting my bare ass and balls on this towel on my workchair in my workspace doing work nakey still almost too hot for the fan even my phone getting lowkey overheated indoors but it finally rained mightve cooled shit outside

I don't think there's a single part of me that doesn't have a cat fuzz stuck to it from the humidity.

Poor little fartbrain has been sleeping stretched out by her scratching pad in the hallway or in the tub to feel cool even though she keeps wanting to cuddle on the bed [ too hot, she basically checks on me, checks to see if the fan is favorable to her and then hits the hallway because it is not ].
