Life can be a real shitcasket, huh? lol

In all seriousness, it may be time to explore what hobbies you have that may turn into a career. (This advice isn't just for you; it's for me as well. I just started writing again and I'm starting to wonder if I can pursue a career in that.) My brother Teddy works for a craft brewery in Little Rock. It started as a hobby with him brewing at home while working at Bank of America. He found he was so good he decided he wanted to learn to do it for real. So he applied to work at a craft brewery in Phoenix (where he was living at the time) and he was hired. He's come up with a few recipes for beers since he's been working professionally. The point is, it's never too late for a career change.

Just something to think about. :)

Wow, that sounds amazing! I had wanted to try something like that, finding something I was passionate about that I could turn into an income stream, but I dunno, I guess I got buried under other stuff.

You're so supportive, when I see a notification come in from you I already know you're going to give positive advice and I want to thank you for that. :)

You're welcome.

And I don't know if other people are like this, but I try to be encouraging at all times, even when I have my own stuff to work through. And I'm that way because I realized that my life experience is different from everybody else's. At the same time, similar experiences do help inform how we communicate with each other. So if someone (me, for exampe) sees that you're going through something they either are going through as well or have already gone through, they can say "this is what I did (or what I'm doing) to get through it". I admit that the advice I give may not always work because there is a myriad of answers to any one problem. You just have to find what works for you. In other words, get as many perspectives from as many people as possible and pick what you think is best for you. (Again, that's also meant for me, too.) *friendly hug*

I'm glad to hear. Get into Indian food. Anthony Bourdain, RIP, said that he hated vegetarian food but loved Indian vegetarian food.

The food I had today was actually Mexican. I've always wanted to try authentic Indian food, but I don't know of any places around here that specialize in it.

Would downtown Atlanta have some? I know Houston in general has a lot of diverse food options.

They most likely would. I actually live a few hours away from Atlanta, though, and don’t really travel in that direction too often.

That's right. My bad.

No worries, man. I actually just found a place nearby on DoorDash. I’ll try it at some point.

Try chicken biryani and samosa. Just be careful with the spice level; nothing hits like Indian spices.

I was looking for soda to drink at night and decided to try A&W root beer zero sugar (artificial sweeteners don't cause sugar rushes according to what I read online). It was one of the most delicious sodas I've ever had.

I was a librarian up until last year. I worked so hard to get into the field only to find that new entries are being paid less and worked more, management isn't being monitored so they do whatever they want, bullying is rampant, and even though women make up the majority of the workforce, men still hold a larger proportion of authority roles. So I just fucking quit.

Now I don't know what to do with my life but I feel immense stress about not paying off loans fast enough that I might still be able to start a family if I want to. I'm too young for a midlife crisis but here we are.

The way libraries are neglected and treated with disdain when they're one of our society's greatest resources is so damn depressing.

Cardi....meg... lighting isn't going to strike twice. Bongos sucks

I think it could have been something if it was Meg's solo song. I don't know why Cardi is regressing like this cuz how did her part sound in any way good to her?

I'm just gonna assume those shitty ass celebs had no idea letters to the court could be made public like that because if they did....what level of delusion were they living in to not think this would look bad?

Did Meg get an ass reduction....frankly, the amount of ass that assaults me on social media, it think my ass related memories may be irreparably distorted, but I thought she was thicker....or did she lose weight or something.

For the record, y'all are talking about Megan Thee Stallion, right? (Not that it's any of my business. lol)

Yup. It's funny. When she posted recent photos after her social media hiatus, people were like 'OMG, how'd she get her body like that? I want her exercise routine!' Then she posted clips of her training and folks were like, ' Oh...she doing EXERCISE exercise. LOL, nope.'

Well, she is from Houston and we have some awesome food down here. lol

I really need to get back on a regular sleep schedule if I'm going to try to go back to work by the end of the year.

So there's this girl who lives on the other side of Houston that is real cool, but she's super private. She asked me out a while back, but nothing ever came of it. Still, why can't I help myself from being interested in her?

I'm such a sap. lol

I love the "dishonest man trying to sue the main character in a wacky sitcom" vibe emanating from the picture they're using on the match graphics for Roderick Strong.

I’m watching a YouTube video on North Korea’s abduction of the director Shin Sang-Ok, and apparently when he gained asylum in the US, he spent his last years making the 3 Ninjas films.  Interesting life.
