I remember my 6th grade history teacher using it to ask us about geography and history. You'd get a foreign coin for every five questions you answered correctly. I think I had gotten seven or eight foreign coins that year. I wish I had kept them all, too, but they got lost when we moved into our new house a few years later.

There were some animated sequences in the game show, yes. There was also a syndicated cartoon series on TV around the same time, too.

I…think the version I watched was entirely animated. But it’s been close to 30 years, probably, so I don’t really remember.

I never knew there was a Netflix show. Might check that out at some point, for nostalgia’s sake.
