There is no way in hell I can sleep on my stomach....I makes me have to pee for some reason.

On back, one knee up and a pillow on my face....Maybe a pillow under the unraised knee for a little razzle dazzle.....That's good sleepin'

I just got up to pee. I was dreaming about rapper. He was doing a concert w/like 5 other big rappers. Kanye was one of them. I took a pic of all of them sitting on a couch together. There were also branches from like a shrub all over the coffee table when i came back in from the concert. There was like a legion of kids chanting his name and i gtfo out of there

Sleeping, or hell, just lying on my back gives me panic attacks. I sleep on my side. When the fuck I can ever go to goddamn sleep.

It is a less comforting position i think but its not that bad for me

I can't sleep on my back or my belly. I have to be on my side.

Mostly because my back is royally fucked up.

Sleeping on your back on an extra firm mattress or even the floor is supposed to be the best thing for the back

Unfortunately most things that are supposed to help your back seem to fuck mine up even more.

I can't even use proper sitting or standing posture anymore. Doing so makes both my arms and one of my legs go totally numb after only a few minutes. It eventually makes my back itself go numb too.

I don't think any pizza places give any shits about the Italian-ness of their delivery people.

I was tired I was only up for about as long as it took to pee and write reply to these posts. I remember almost commenting on your pillow razzle dazzle but I didn't know what to say

Giuseppe is married and has a kid. I found out alil bit ago. He knows I know. He still wants to hook up. I havent talked to him in a few days. Hes not off the menu. I'll still probably let him hit it. There's no future there tho

Damn I'm sorry. Is there a medical procedure to fix it?

I can't figure out how to sleep on my side.... Sometimes when I'm tossing and turning laying on my side is just what the dr. ordered... EXCEPT that for the life of me I can't figure out wtf to do with my arm to keep it from hurting within 30 seconds of attempting to sleep on my side.

It should go forward... Right? No matter what position I sleep in, I'm usually hugging a pillow which counts as putting it forward

This one does. I'm a 1/4 italian and a week after hiring me he asked what I was. He said he knew I had to have some italian when he saw me. Plus idk if u read the original thread, Pizza guy "Giuseppe" is the nephew of my full-blood-sicilian-born-in-Sicily former boss of the pizza place.

Well thank you. My skin hasn't been it's best scaring wise lately, but I'll take that compliment. I was excited to meet other people in this older student house. And I was talking to student who felt self conscious about being old. I told him I was probably older than him, and then I found out he was older by 4 years, to which he replied, "It's ok I think you do look older than me too". I was like daayyyyuummm lol

But have you thought about trying to train yourself to sleep on your back? I feel like it would be harder than older we are, because falling asleep as children came naturally. lol

Yea thats what I was working on when I wrote this thread last night. I've succeeded in training myself to do it several times before in my life. I just always seem to slip up and return to side and stomach. I can't afford to stomach sleep any longer tho. I need to do everything to preserve myself. Training it is just so frustrating esp w/how difficult it is for me to fall asleep in general.

You're in good shape though.

I'm too fat to sleep on my belly.

Sometimes, I kinda lay on half my side, half my stomach with one leg up to my neck.

But fuck balls, last night sucked the most ass. I am hoping I can go to bed early tonight and make up for last night.

Have you tried breathing exercises? I used to have a whole process to help me sleep, haven't stuck to it for awhile. But I would turn off all electronics around 10:30 to 11pm. Run a calming humidifier with essential oils. And lay on my back, focusing on breathing. Inhaling air slowly for 4vseconds, holding it for about 7 seconds, and then slowly releasing for 8 seconds.

To be honest, doesn't always work, especially is something is horribly occupying your mind, but if it's an average night, I find that certain exercises do help. https://www.healthline.com/health/breathing-exercises-for-sleep#bhramari-pranayama

I had a psychology class where the teacher taught that to us and had us do it in class. I couldn't do it because holding my breath for 7 seconds (I think he actually said 8 seconds) is EXTREMELY hard for me to do, and actually accomplishing it there is no way in fucking hell I could exhale slowly and calmly, so I exhale rapidly and it leaves me not even remotely relaxed. Then I try to do it again and I can't hold my breath as long as I did the last try.

Trying lessening the count by 2 seconds, and instead of getting frustrated, maybe try to see how it can work for you. I don't know, I feel like it's something you work on, not force yourself quickly to master

I used to meditate. Sometimes I'd almost fall asleep doing it even if it was the middle of the day. I thought about it last night actually but didn't. Ever since smartphones came out, it's been harder to clear my thoughts and focus on nothing to succeed in the meditation. Both meditating and back sleeping are things I keep meaning to do again. So I think you're right. I should probably combine the two. Idk why I don't do it anymore

I’m primarily a side sleeper. I can sleep on my back, but it’s not my preferred position of slumber. Never been a stomach sleeper, though - it hurts my boobs too much 😣

When I started hormones mine were super sensitive as they started developing and I couldn't sleep on my stomach. Now they're not and they didn't get all that big so I don't get to experience your advantage problem.

I can't imagine a scenario where one would "have to" sleep on their back or "force" themselves to do so. Do you have a medical condition of some kind? Spine issues? I am befuddled.

It causes wrinkles

Ohhhh okay, so it's a cosmetic thing. Ja feel. I've only ever fallen asleep on my back when I was drunk, and I would always wake up in severe pain, barely able to move. Then again, I have a fucked up back as it is.

Meh, they’re really not that great. They cause back problems, and trying to buy clothes sometimes sucks. There have been so many times that I couldn’t buy what I wanted because it wouldn’t fit over my chest, so I have to go with a bigger size and look frumpy 😕

Idk about the back pain thing. I think they can exacerbate an underlying issue like posture, inactivity/weakness, or a spinal disorder. There's like a certain knowledge base amongst adult actresses concerning all kinds of lifestyle tips related to working in the industry. One of them is strengthening the back so you don't have back pain from mega boobs. And supposedly if your back isn't strengthened enough from squatting you're supposed to do hyperextensions.

I was starting to have really bad back pain from sitting on my ass this whole quarantine until I started doing squats again 2 months ago. It's completely gone now.

The other porn girl remedy if you suspect it's your posture is to do corset/waist trainer + posture corrector. I have both but I hardly use them bc I'm undisciplined. I was thinking I'd have to use them for the back pain but working out was enough. You should always start w/exercise first anyway tho. Not good to waist train if you're not reasonably fit.

You're probably just trying to make me feel better so I shouldn't have bothered typing this out. But I thought I should share in case you had back pain

And.. things don't fit right all the time when you're flat chested too 😖

Oh, yes. I do. I'm currently pushing myself to the limit of overtraining as it is. I'm in the middle of my workout rn actually.

Lol, well both. I am trying to make you feel better, but I honestly do think they’re kind of a pain.

But thank you for the tips! I’ve been slacking on my workouts, so that is probably part of it. I’ve never looked into the corset training thing before, though. That helps with your posture?

A real corset w/the steel bones will make it impossible to slouch. Add a quality upper body posture corrector and you're pretty much locked into proper posture. It's not going to 100% stop you from slouching once you take it off, but doing it regularly gets your body used to being positioned like that. If you're really weak and slouch a ton, being locked into good posture can even make you super tired after just a couple hours, and if you're not into waist training, you can use corsets just for posture without tightening them to waist reducing levels.

I have this very real irrational fear that someone is going to have a sky diving accident and land right on my junk

Wish I could say I was making this up, but I'm not.... That and I enjoy burying my head into numerous pillows so I can sleep with my head at an angle my body at the time perceives as comfortable but it fucks my neck up for at least 2 weeks
