André Toulon
Have you seen the lady killers? Tom Hanks took a late 90s/early 2000s Southern professor role and instead went full Colonel Sanders. Hanks is polarizing at best. Absolutely ground breaking in some roles and total trash in others. He's great, but not really the best. Edited May 30, 2020 by André Toulon

ELDEMONIO
I liked him in that movie Big. Crazy how he played a 10yr old trapped in a adult body and then sleeps with his coworker.
Ultima
Tom Hanks sucks, and he bought a new volleyball anyway. The best actor is Tom Cruise or Steven Seagal. Edited May 31, 2020 by Ultima

nameraka
He was great in that one movie from the 80s. Or was it the 90s? Idk, I was pretty drunk for like 20 years.

Sorry, but I don't think he's ever taken a risk in the roles he's chosen. Maybe if he played someone completely evil, like Henry Fonda's "Frank" in "Once Upon A Time In The West", he might qualify. He simply personified an aesthetic of the time. back in the 70s and 80s......His later films were really hit or miss but I found him hilarious as Bogg Hogg in the 2005 Dukes of Hazzard. Didn't he cameo on Friends a few times.....Or was that Tom Selleck Did you know he was dead....I had no idea he died.
