PhilosipherStoned Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) Is it a Tapir? There's a lot of funny looking animals that look like tapirs but they are completely different. Different species of ant eaters, and shit.. I'm pretty sure that's a tapir though. (No ant eater tongue) Tamandua's look wild as shit. Edited February 2, 2020 by PhilosipherStoned
PhilosipherStoned Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Or maybe it's an aardvark.. Nah definitely gotta be a tapir.

PhilosipherStoned Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Nothing beats the elephant seal I think when it comes to weird unsettling snouts though.. Except again maybe that Siaga Antelope.. That thing looks almost alien.

tsar4 Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 2 questions... 1) Did it see its shadow? 2) If it did, what does that mean for us bipeds?

It just kinda looked like it wanted to fight for me.
PhilosipherStoned Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 (edited) Girafarig was supposingly inspired by the Okapi. I never got it until years later though. Okapi are bascially miniture giraffes with a shorter kneck, and unique coloring. Okapi and the typical species of giraffe most people are familiar with are the only members of the giraffidae family.. There are a few different subspecies of the typical giraffe though. They are classified by the patterns of their spots, and geographic location. Edited February 3, 2020 by PhilosipherStoned
PhilosipherStoned Posted February 2, 2020 Posted February 2, 2020 Well I just found a site that claimed the extinct giraffe ancestor Giraffokeryx as the inspiration.. Whatever.. I found an interesting chart though .

Lasty Posted February 4, 2020 Posted February 4, 2020 Leave Tapir alone! Tapir is just introverted and all your B.S. about how life should be lived is just gaslighting.
