Omg you guys I got a call saying my social security number is going to be suspended

Lol no way that means they couldve had you on a pre screened list for the scam if they just called you out of the blue.  At least you arent senile or mentally handicapped etc.. I mean that's why those guys are so fun to fuck with to so many people because the entire scam usually seems like it was thought out by someone in grade school so rofl.

That's actually one of the more widely used scams too believe it or not. None of them sound rational to anyone with common sense but either they're finding that one perfect target that doesn't understand shit about the subject or some outside source is funding these "call centers" because there's no way the idiots should stay in business imo..Did you lead them on a bit?

If only they had suspended it earlier.  Then you wouldn't exist, and you wouldn't have to show up to traffic court.

You know for a split second when I was listening to the message and heard something about the sheriff coming to arrest me I thought "oh shit I thought I was good because I paid that ticket off" then was like "wait no why the fuck would they call with an automated message if they were going to arrest me" then it got to the part about my social security number being "suspended" and I was like okay I'm good this is a scam

It was just an automated mess on my voicemail. I never answer calls from numbers I don't know and never call them back. From what I understand doing that just makes them call you more. I get maybe one message like that every other week or so.

This is what I'm looking at in case anyone's curious. https://bobrtc.live/phonebook

I havent tested the call function on my computer, or this link/apps mobile compatibility, but it was made for the specific purpose of fucking with the same type of scammers  It's supposed to generate an anonomous number so they can't call you back. I'm thinking about putting it to the test now.. but I might save it for a rainy day or something I'm still debating.  It's easy to bait these guys without an app anyway it's just meant to save you the trouble of looking for live numbers and disguising yours if you want to waste their time. If anyone here does happen to test this app before I do let me know if you like it.

testing this crap now.. there's so many options..  I'm gonna try and reach one of the IRS type scams now... because these guys get hip to the fact they are being trolled online when they get an influx of random numbers I'm sure.

I still havent got a scammer on the line yet, but I've been multitasking.

I just got an indian dude on the line.. My mics off I'm not sure how I want to do this via computer yet... That app I should say site... does seem legit and it makes it super easy to call spam scammers.  I'm just not sure if I should wait to start baiting until I have my recording for this shit down pat. and more of plan. I don't know how long these numbers listed stay up for there's always fresh ones supposedly I guess so whatevs. Not like I'm supposed to feel bad for calling these guys anyway the troll in me just wants to not waste a good opportunity..

What do I do about this totally legit call they said the county sheriff is going to freeze my bank account and arrest me and suspend my social security number unless I call the number

I'm not sure what you should do, but I have a somewhat similar problem. A l33t hacker is threatening to send screenshots of the porn I watch to all my contacts unless I send him bitcoins. Also, he's going to take control of my computer. Oh, dear. What shall I do?

Every time I get one of those, I like to fuck with them. SO much fun.

If you want a bogus apple tech support number to call I have a lot. I'm still playing with that online bait scamming site lol. I'm on hold with a scammer supposingly. I'm still trying to vet the site and it's accuracy when it comes to them all being scams anyway. I'll vet one of these guys and give you anumber if you want a free troll though.

What should I ask this guy... damn he hung up.

Never know when they're gonna answer they had me on hold lol.. That number just says tech support scam in the listings so I didn't know what companies tech I'm supposed to be pretending to need help with when he answered anyway.. Guy that answered just said "TecK Sapoet" *thick indian accent*

🤣

The guy at this number for penis pills said to go to viagra.com and wouldn't give me the name of his company idk lol. It was funny call, but when I tried to ask for a name of the "online pharmacy" he worked for he started to try to make something up and then said go to viagra.com.

He was like "the name is generalsupport....you know actually viagra.com... " 😂

I wasn't convincing at all I just made up a story about my grandfather telling me to get some penis pills because I had no info on how this particular scam operates...

I said... "He just has penis pills written next to his subscriptions withtthis number to call so I'm trying to figure out where he got it...blah blah blah. "

How do the online pharmacy scams go? I'm familiar with refund scams especially microsoft.. and a lot of others on the list, but the scams I get answers from have been scams I havent seen played out at all.. lame.

I don’t need bogus Apple tech support. I AM Apple tech support. I know what the fuck I am doing (literal titled Genius in the Apple store). I love to get those numbers and troll them into the ground. Especially when they answer with *thick Indian accent* “TacK Sapoet, James Smith speekan.”

I almost always call and tell them I am from Apple’s Internal Audit Department (doesn’t exist), and listen to them panic.

Ok so do you want a number to troll into ground or not... I'm getting mixed messages here. I just don't like Apple enough to troll their fake techs.

Sounds like you might though >_>

Of course I do. I wanna see how long it takes for my Google Voice numbers to get blocked from them.
