After that, it just became commonplace.....When I had kids, I fixed it because their mother would listen to some questionable shit when we were in the car.....I'm like "the kids don't need to hear this" and she was like "blah blah, they don't know what it means" and I'm like "They will if they hear it every day".... While it helps me out in polite company, it also serves a secondary purpose; when I really want to make a point about something, I'll slip in a "damn".
