molarbear Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 I actually grew up on classic rock because my Dad liked it. When my Mom would go out of town my Dad would bust out his Record Player and his Vinyls I was 4 when I was introduced to Black Sabbath, Jethro Tull, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin, etc My Brother and I would dance around and misinterpret the song lyrics one thing that stands out to this day was us laughing uncontrollably at "Aqua Lung" because Snot was dripping down his nose. 2
Poof Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 ever since i fucked a santero i can't think about anything but huge south american dick when i listen to that song. bc i love that song and i never knew what santeria was. then ppl were like "you shouldnt fuck that guy he sacrifices animals" wait why does he sacrifice animals? oh, because he practices santeria. thats how i found out what it was. so thats what i think about now when i hear it
Vamped Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 I'm more and more inclined to listen to those "soft" rock/pop stations that people can play at work than the stations with the newest pop. The older I get the more that new teeny bop shit gets on my nerves. I'm not old enough for smooth jazz yet though
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted May 15, 2019 Posted May 15, 2019 I don't know what that is, but it pissed me off to no end when classic rock stations started playing nu-metal and post-grunge. And that was like 6 years ago.

One word - "Aqualung" And my normal argument still stands - there is no such thing as "Classic Rock". That's just a catch-all for people that don't know genres & sub-genres.
