zombieninjakitten Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Wal-Mart is an evil entity that sucks the very soul out of your life and makes you feel a desolate emptiness in exchange for low, low prices on groceries and other items. Beware the call of the Wal-Mart but that is futility because you cannot ignore it, your wallet won’t let you. We are doomed. 1
QueenoftheDorks Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 I worked there for about six months. It was terrible.

Can't wait for Amazon to buy them out like they are everything else.
QueenoftheDorks Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 Amazon might actually be worse than Walmart though. 1

GunStarHero Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 I worked in a Wal-Mart warehouse for a couple years. Don't shop there anymore, unless you count prescriptions. I can get so many more groceries for less if I shop at an actual grocery store. That being said, I used to live in a town where the two grocery stores were a Wal-Mart and a Winn Dixie so I reluctantly shopped Wal-Mart cause Winn Dixie is overpriced.

wacky1980 Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 what we used to buy at walmart as far as groceries goes, we now get from aldi. i do most of my non-grocery shopping online, and i avoid walmart 100% with the exception of price checking against other stores. haven't sent walmart a dime of my money for at least several months now. but amazon...see, they love me, so i love them right back.

midnight Posted March 22, 2019 Posted March 22, 2019 Speaking of unloading trucks, I was in my office one time, and the security camera caught my eye. I looked up in time to see one of my workers unloading a pallet of water, only to accidentally turn it over, and water went everywhere. I gave him half an hour to clean it up....or a write-up. He got it cleaned it up quickly. 1

I was the boss and we had a job to get done, and that job didn't involve cleaning up a pallet of water, some slap nuts turned over. Time is important. Can't waste it cleaning up a preventable accident.
