I've watched Armour of God, Fearless Hyena, Project A, and Wheels on Meals this month. If we got any other fans, what are your favorite JC films?

Police Story is my favorite and I see 1-2 are joining the Criterion collection, gonnabuy that set for sure.

Rumble in the Bronx is good, seen it a bunch of times. Pretty sure it was the first Chan movie I saw.

Ok. I'll calm down now.

The Young Master. The choreography of the fights is fucking amazing, and I use the film as reference to get the rhythm of a fight down plus adding humor when needed. It's also just fucking hilarious.

Rush Hour 1 &2, City Hunter, Drunken Master II, and Rumble in  Bronx are my favorites.

I do appreciate his cameo in King of Comedy. (And his appearance in Enter the Dragon solely based on his story about wanting Bruce Lee to hold him when Jackie was hurt on set.)

Also I have this in Laserdisc because why not.

The Young Master is on Amazon Prime I think so might watch that next. I know I've seen it before but don't remember it very well.

I don't remember a lot of his early movies which were hilarious....

I enjoyed The Drunken Master a lot and The Twin Dragons was pretty funny...

Mr. Nice Guy and Rumble in the Bronx are mainstays...

Rush Hour is good. Forbidden Kingdom. Cannonball Run.

Rush Hour is okay, don't like Forbidden Kingdom, do like Cannonball Run.

Other than the white-haired witch trope, the only thing I liked about The Forbidden Kingdom was this scene:

This would have been so much better if bigwigs hadn't decided that Americans no longer wanted to watch martial arts movies featuring Asians unless there was some white dude with zero fighting skills as the lead. That trend was why I got more into foreign films though.

I remembered this thread for some reason because my Police Story 1-2 set showed up today, forgot about it for two months. Which works out I guess since it was 44% off.

Haven't seen Mr. Nice Guy or the original Drunken Master in years. The other two I've seen a bunch of times.

I might make this a yearly thing. Got out some Jackie Chan movies to watch.
Police Story 1-2 Criterion Set I bought last year but haven't watched yet.
Mr. Nice Guy (original uncut version that released on bluray recently)
Crime Story
Drunken Master 1-2

Not to marathon all at once, this will be over 4-6 weeks.

Jackie Chan is the frickin' man. :D Don't know why, just enjoy his movies both old and new. Yes, even the reboot / re-do / re-whatever of 'Karate Kid' .

I have his autobiography on the shelf around here somewhere. And when I saw this thread I had to pull this out for the photo-op because it's stupid hilarious.
