It's happened before where I drive there and forget it's Sunday. It doesn't help that the store is less than a five-minute drive away either.

:D I have the same problem at Jimmy John's. Before I'm even through the door I'm greeted with 'Beach with pickles!' :D 

Only been to Chick-fil-a once because I was starving and wanted hot breakfast on the way to work without having to go a few blocks out of the way for a McD's grease bag [Chick-fil-a is a straight shot between home and work]. The weird little bite-sized hashbrowns were fun. :) Otherwise I tend to avoid the place like the plague. When they first opened, the smell of rancid chicken grease was overpowering and the lines went all the way to the dang mall turn off. The lines have died down slightly but the smell remains, even in winter.

I haven’t been there in a long time. They took coleslaw off the menu and replaced it with kale. Fuck them. If I want kale, I’ll climb in my rabbit fortress and eat with them.

Yeah, I miss their coleslaw. Still love them though.

You can make the coleslaw at home.  They published the receipe.

Disco’s slaw whips their slaw’s ass. But it was nice to have some when I went there. But if we have to make slaw at home, I’m sticking with disco’s.

I agree, for at least a fast food chicken sandwich. The drive thrus always move quickly too. Have yet to have a negative experience there.

I've never had a better fast food chicken sandwich elsewhere. Only had better experiences with chicken in sit down restaurants.

As for being closed on Sundays, it annoy me too but at the same time it's kinda admirable for sticking to the founder's principles.

Now, Popeyes is probably some of my favorite fast food. But I’d gladly slap a Jesus sticker on my car and yell amen for that chick fil a chicken. I can’t deny it’s juicy goodness.

Popeyes is murder in a bucket, almost literally.  It takes good because it takes a year off your life every time you eat it.

Every time I eat Popeyes, no matter where I go, makes me feel sick to my stomach. Every time.
