It's supposed to be 114 here today. I'm working outside. Needless to say I'll be taking measures to survive the heat. Got a strategically placed fan, water, and I'm taking frequent breaks.

I know other parts of the country are also getting some heat. How hot is it for ya and what are you doing to stay cool?

I took today off so I could wax me a 4 day weekend since I technically worked on the 4th.......I don't work outside, but I do work in electronic generated heat year round so I think I feel your pain....But not really, because FUCK outside.

I whole heartedly agree. Whoever came up with this outside shit should be shot.

It's rainy here so finally it dropped to the mid 80's.

If it rains here it's just going to be awful and gross. I'm not looking forward to that.

I'm not a stranger to it though.......Just after years of doing it I developed a disdain for it.......Ever tar a roof of a 30 story building.  Boiling tar and Mississippi heat are not something to be fucked with

At least where I'm going to be for the next week and a half isn't too bad, right now anyway....

Neither am I, but it never gets easier. It's officially 110 here and I'm doing heavy labor in a metal box. My water could make tea. This sucks.

True. It's also not the worst position I've been in. Gotta be grateful for that.

Supposed to be 104 today. Probably gonna spend most of it inside.

I generally have a policy that if it's over 100 out I'm going to try to be indoors as much as possible

One good thing about living in a sun blasted death trap is I've mastered the technique of how to buckle my seat belt without burning the shit out of my hand

Even the god damned center console is giving me burns. Why is every part of my car a branding iron?

Pleasant 84 with low humidity today.

Spent the afternoon outside at a park with the laptop finishing up some odds and ends.

Good day.

Welp that weather report I posted for Slaughter Beach didn’t last. It sprinkled here, humidity spiked, and I just got done moving and leveling a 35’ camper.

I don’t sweat much compared to the average person.

The coastal areas are always a little cooler. The IE was 115 most of the day.

Yeah, I was watching the reports.  No fucking way I'm going near San Bernadino today.  That's Coachella hot.

It was 112 yesterday so I'm not looking forward to today. I work indoors but they dont run the AC in most parts of the building and I'm by ovens, grills, heat lamps, etc. all day.
