k so i couldnt figure out where to take my newlyweds for their honeymoon.

theyve never had sex MOSTLY because her first bf savagely raped her....so she is emotionally scarred, fragile, etc

so i decided he'd breakdown her barriers by introducing her to bdsm (where shes the dom, him the sub) this gives her back the power of consent and makes her feel safe

his mother buys out a sex dungeon and they spend the night there exploring

im loving this. gonna be rich. its 50 shades for teenagers. GIMME YO MONEY NNNNAAAAOOOOWW

but its actual bdsm which is mostly safe and rewarding...not borderline abusive with one party not really into it.

Writing sex involving teens, while it does happen, is really precarious territory, especially if it's explicit, and the focus of your novel.

Yeah, when i joined the XAV club i was sure to not let any of the teens get fucked by a tentacle monster.

Ok, I'm working on a project for work right now about which I am very excited, so I can't tell you how incorrect you are with that statement,  nor can I post a list of the ages of the individuals who engaged in the orgy.

But when I get home, I'm tearing this post a new asshole.

Ugh.  Why on earth are you having your protagonist get into BDSM after she was brutally raped?  Maybe I'm not the best person to point this out, but BDSM is going to reinforce control issues with a woman who has been violated, even if she is given the opportunity to be the dom.  I'm not saying it can't be done, but there are definitely psychological barriers that would make intimacy more difficult if what you're trying to do is make Deja and Whateverhisnameis open up about their feelings for each other.

Fuggses fundamental problem is she has no idea what a real BDSM relationship is because she only reads the fetishization of them and refuses to learn about what it is actually like.

Exactly

(This part is for @fuggnificent)

It's not that BDSM or fetishism are a bad thing; relinquishing control of your sexual desires is an important part of having a realistic and healthy relationship and its something that a lot of men (and even a few women) need.  But for Deja, sexual desires are secondary to the fact that she was attacked and assaulted.  Asking her exerting control over her new husband isn't going to allow her to open up to him as make her reenact the abuse she endured in the role of perpetrator, and that can only end up a few ways - either she embraces the role of abuser or (more likely) the process opens up a lot of ugly, panful wounds that makes it even worse.  BDSM doms are highly experienced individuals who understand that what they're doing takes a good deal of care and that, if done improperly, can easily become abuse.

Characters in stories don’t have to make good decisions. If it’s a story about a rape victim becoming a domme that’s what it is. Fuggs never said it was a healthy decision

Buddy already alluded to it.  This isn't a story about a rape victim becoming a dom, it's a story about a rape victim being redeemed by love with a good man.  I didn't come up with any of this; this is how she's developed the story over the years.

I get that this is supposed to be fiction, but such a conceit is highly improbable given the the very rigid rules governing the practice within the community (by the dominatrix themselves).  No dom would ever "supervise" someone with Deja's traumatic background explicitly because rape victims have had the line between control and abuse blurred.  It's a safety issue at the very least.

Well, not too much anymore. I almost had to abandon a large kinky convention that happens every November because the guy running it was a massive scumbag. The kind who doesn't pay people what they are owed and covers up staff members raping people at the event kind of scumbag. But luckily another organization bought all the rights to several of his events since the one that was about to happen was on the verge of being canceled. So now i don't need to worry about that the next time I go.

There was a monthly club I was going to in the city for awhile that was run by a former Jesus impersonator, which was kinda fun. Especially when you see Jesus walking around hitting people with a flogger. There were a few other munches I used to go to as well but life hasn't been giving me an opportunity to go for awhile.

Than there is my personal life. Which will stay that way because that is how I roll.

Getting flogged by Jesus sounds like one of the best things ever.

Ugh, I've heard horror stories like that, but it's more fucked up when the organizers ignore predatory behavior.

The club with the Jesus impersonator sounds fun as heck.

Because he knows what he's talking about, and you don't.  I swear to God, if you ever tried an actual collegiate level fiction writing glass, you wouldn't last one workshop.

you think everything is illegal. isaw u say youd go to jail for forgetting to file one measly ole w2

Creation/dissemination of obscene material is a felony offense under 18 USC 1465.

Tax evasion, which is forgetting to include a W-2 in your tax forms is a felony. Ask Wesley....

You ripping off 50 Shades of Fail should be a felony on general principle....
