but like give up all your earthly possessions and don;t eat meat is a little too much for me. Id rather stay grounded in my sadness then do that.

hahaha luckily i dont think im bipolar, though everyone in my family is. I do have chronic depression, borderline, and pmdd. so that sucks.

i have the same problem with antisocial personality disorder...

narcissistic personality disorder was changed to anti social personality disorder to define the difference between psychotic and narcissistic and to mark the difference  

and relation of narcissistic traits and personality traits in the 1970's (completely removing it as a psychotic disease from the books), ....

then personality disorder traits were marked against narcissistic personality traits for a completely different reason in the 90's. 

this was because non-delusional, non-audio hallucinatory, and non-violent psychosis tendencies in traits did not mean the traditional form of antisocial.

The final result was to define

anti-social and some narcissistic traits as maintainable and medicatable.  Now all of a sudden through nothing but social trends, the latter (personality disorders) are stigmatized as

psychotic disorders because when people associate the small personality disorders or mood swing disorders they mark them psychotic in their mind.  But in the psychology field,

common diagnoses are not related to unexplained psychotic tendencies (i.e. like violence v. delusions) just because a person has mood swings.

 

so people hear anti social and they think jeffrey dahmer when anti social really means busy or focussed on something else

also a result: people hear narcissistic and forget its the bad one.

also a result: psychopathy and psychotic distinguishments in these diseases

so whats borderline?

Oh sure. Its Borderline Personality Disorder. BPD but bipolar is also sometimes called BPD so that gets confusing
its kind of what people think of as bipolar, with extreme mood swings, except its not long periods of time. its like all of a sudden RAGE then im good or EXTREME SADNESS then im good (and i mean i can literally feel like my heart has been stabbed if i like drop a cookie)
but it also has alot of disassociation as in I have no sense of self, on who i am or anything, then sometimes i dont feel anything at all and im like what is happening who am i???
basically i feel everything to the EXTREME, then i dont, THEN I DO
also we have terrible relationship skills because we're so up and down. 
and self destructive tendencies like binge eating or cutting or whatever

about 80% of people with bpd attempt suicide. 

also we dont have mania like bipolar

 

treatment is alot of therapy, i had it twice a week and it was GREAT but outside of school ill never be able to afford that so here i am lol

I still don't understand it. I've heard the term before.  What so no medication??

The meaning of life:

Aeons, unfathomable ammounts of time ago, the timeline of our universe came into being. The three-dimensional objects which would become physical reality began interacting with eachother in a manner dictated by the laws of the universe, as the reaction traveled forwards along the fourth dimension of time.

Flash forward those uncountable millenia and we find ourselves here: the current product of a singular chain reaction that will stretch on for another unfathomable stretch of time beyond our own personal ability to subjectively observe it.

Its not a form of bipolar. bipolar is a mood disorder, bpd is a personality disorder. I am explain parts you dont understand.
you can get medication but its only gunna help maybe 10% of the time. I took anti psycotics and it mostly just helped with sleep

no none of those things are bpd. antisocial is a separate personality disorder, and psychopaths are manipulative, can hide their emotions, and feel no remorse for their wrongs.

I dont know, the human consciousness has evolved to observe the fourth dimension as a continuous timeline with the ability to recall subjective, flawed, and easily manipulated imaginations of events that happened in the past, but almost no ability to accurately visualize events that will happen in the future along the timeline.

bpd is the worst when you cant trust yourself i think

i have to actually try to feel most of that, i wouldnt get stuck in it, most of it is what about emotions.... emotions have to be real and when there is nothing real to care about?

im not sure i get what youre saying but i agree. the worst part of bpd is its not something youre born with, it comes from your brains response to trauma and abuse. 

its like your brain tried really hard to work on protecting you from it and it broke

Meaning implies a message. Something being communicated. And by extension, an author. 

Life, as most understand it, is then a body of work. Seldom will you find an aggregate of various compositions, of any significant size, that contains within it a continuous, succinct, unambiguous idea. Themes will abound, to be sure, but so to will contradiction. This is in large part due to the fact that separate works have separate audiences, and address separate issues. 

One could argue that life is not an anthology, but one piece unto itself. This is folly. Even if we are to accept this in theory, in practice the result is the same. For, in order to understand it, one must observe it, beginning to end. But that is not how we partake. We are given snippets, brief glimpses, a handful of beats plucked arbitrarily from a grand orchestration.

And so, if we are to discern anything, it is not an articulate pronouncement, but rather a succession of murmurs.
Thus, the answer, in the most literal of senses, is memes.
