  1. I mean, I’m not sure what you can really sneak through that you can’t with the normal line since you still have to x-ray your bags and go through the MRI - lite machine, but I can’t exactly say it’s safe given the general state of the TSA.
  2. What was just said. It’s a shorter line where you don’t have to take off your shoes or belt and they don’t hassle you as much. Basically you apply for it with the TSA, pay a small fee and the do a background check and interview. I fly enough that it makes things a lot easier in an airport like LAX where the line can last 20 or more minutes.
  3. Who would have guessed Facebook was full of white moderates? That was the variable that was missing from the article, though, that “friend groups” certain types of writers flock to lack true friendship intimacy. That particular group didn’t sound like a bunch of friends, it sounded like a trade group.
  4. That was my impression after reading the article, a real letdown after expecting this elaborate tale of faked proof-of-death pics, a mock funeral, and a shit load of conspiracies on the side. The only thing that stood out was this: I don't recall you ever mentioning this kind of camaraderie between romance writers and it certainly rings hollow given none of them, including the woman that supposedly reviewing her work, went to a funeral for a friend.
  5. The whole thing is mostly a sideshow for Garland. It has nothing to do with the real crime of inciting an insurrection, and chances are the DOJ won’t investigate beyond who saw those documents. Like now with Biden, they’re investigating to make sure there wasn’t a security breach. Common sense says that Trump was infinitely more likely to use those stolen secrets for personal gain than Biden, but short of a full blown case of espionage, the investigation likely does little. It will ultimately only prove Trump and the Republicans were hypocritical for going after Hillary’s email server, and likely serve as a trap for Republican congresspeople who think they can use this as an opening for going after the DOJ.
  6. They're desperately trying to shift the narrative away from "Trump had all these top secret items because he intended to sell them to all the foreign entities he owes money to."
  7. Don't have PreCheck?
  8. They're so underrated.
  9. I seen what you all drive on the strip.
  10. It is unlocked! Strange.
  11. It made it to the top of CNN, so apparently this shit is a big deal.
  12. I mean, Shakespeare raised doubling down on bad choices into high art, but this... this is following a really really bad choice with even worse choices.
  13. Of what?
  14. He has to get his next liver from somewhere, you know.
  15. Twenty-Nine Palms is in the middle of the Mojave Desert. It's quite literally a hell hole.
  16. I have no idea who this is or that she supposedly killed her self before she apparently didn't. Nonetheless, the whole thing is fascinating - how does one come back from the dead like that and what could she have possibly expected would happen?
  17. It means I wouldn't live in Ohio for the remaining season and a half.
  18. Fixed that ... because you know it'll be Eric's liver the next time he misses a payment.
  19. That's about right if you pro-rate for two and half seasons.
  20. Not a very good car, though.
  21. Love the twitter handle.
  22. I think he made the right choice.
  23. That's between Century City and Pico Robertson. Both Robertson Blvd and La Brea Ave have a ton of great food places to visit. (Edit) Fairfax Avenue is where the Farmer's Market is.
  24. Looks like a chain out of Ventura County. Might be why you got something else. What neighborhood of LA are you in?
