Boob clouds! (No literally, they're called "mammatus.") I've been watching entirely too many Reed Timmer streams recently. It's been one hell of an active season.

Want them to die? No. Something something read obituaries with great interest? Sure.

The entire planet needs some seriously better taste.

We went a good 4 or 5 weeks without any real rain to speak of. (In fact, Philly had the driest May ever recorded.) We never got to full-on drought, but those are the sorts of brown lawns I'm used to seeing mid-July, not mid-May. Then there were those few crazy Canadian smoke days on top of it. At least we've had a few good rain events over the past couple of weeks.

I'm not sure if I ever interacted with her on the ASMB, but from hearing everyone talk I really wish I had. Rest in peace.

Hey, Shenmue was legitimately fun.

Summer Time Rendering was soooooo damn good. If anyone hasn't checked it out because of how Disney practically buried it, do yourselves a favor and watch it.

I've been a massive Zelda fan for a large portion of my gaming life, and Breath of the Wild is my straight-up favorite game ever. ...I think this is going to top it.

See now this is a great use case for machine learning as far as I'm concerned. It's not shitting out some hodgepodge of a bunch of other artists' work, it's taking an existing recording and isolating a certain part of it.

I've heard pretty mediocre things about this season. I still haven't even felt motivated to watch Mugen Train.

So when Russia illegally invades Ukraine under false pretenses and tries to depose its (democratically-elected) leader and replace him with a puppet, you're saying the Ukrainians should just lie back and think of Putin. But when the US illegally invaded Iraq under false pretenses and deposed its (own-people-gassing) leader, well then of course it was right for the Iraqis to rise up against their evil oppressors. Such a consistent worldview.

Get rid of the fucking thing, like every other sane country on the planet. Denmark's the only other democratic country that has one, and raising it is a complete non-issue there.

It was my younger brother's game so I'd just fool around with it a bit, but I think he wound up having BIte for anything that was strong against water, and Water Gun/Hydro Pump for anything that was weak to it. That thing was a steamroller.

My brother got through all of Blue with a single overleveled Blastoise, so you shut your damn mouth.

The viewer bumps were always really cool. In terms of programming, though, it had to be the Toonami April Fools stunt. They even led in with the first few minutes of The Room, and then a hard cut to TOM saying "Ohai [adult swim]!" The scary part is that I've now been watching the block for about as long with the Toonami packaging as I did with the old Action label, even though the latter feels like it lasted way way longer.
