I ended up beating P4 twice in a row to get the perfect ending. I've been meaning to beat my 2nd playthrough of P3 for the past few years, but got caught up on life so much and wanted to emotionally prepare myself for it. The last development I made was finishing Mitsuru's social link a couple days before the final boss dungeon opened up.

Folks that have been around since it first aired on Toonami in the 2000's have stuck with it all these years and are committed to seeing it through. It also has the added benefit of not having a botched-up arrival like 4Piece being America's introduction to One Piece, and had a solid enough foundation to continue to pull followers in even with fillers. Bleach was similar in its following, except Bleach didn't play it safe and jumped the shark in canon too quickly. Naruto had very crappy moments as well, but was effective in reigning viewers in to have them look forward to what was going to happen next. I guess Kishimoto has the benefit of the doubt that he actually ended the main storyline on a good note so those that know how it ended can look back fondly while those who are still anime-only are also hooked by knowing that it's coming closer and closer to coming to an end until the Boruto stuff starts happening.

That makes sense. Restorations to pre-2000's anime would do alot more to breathe life into older physical cels than the digital cels from the Aughts where Bluray's limitations are more clear without the recent business model of fixing art errors/uncensoring Bluray editions. My only main concern with older restorations is if it does anything too drastic to them like how the Sailor Moon Bluray was more of a halfjob with oversaturation and noise, but I guess that's just when Bluray restoration goes wrong. My flaw was seeing Bluray as only a chance to make a show look good on TV when it does serve as a vessel to remaster older shows in better quality most of the time.

Good to hear it's more readily available now. Even though I feel that Bluray doesn't do much for anime made before 2010, it could help with a show where its last remaster was ages ago.

The actors were decent, but I couldn't remember anything about Rachel aside from the fact that she was forgettable enough for Katie Holmes to be replaced in the 2nd movie without anyone feeling like someone was missing. The third act was also not so good, but it was a good start.
