It’s a small place, so I doubt they’d have the seating or the accommodations for a crowd of unruly kids. I remember a poor small restaurant I was taken to for a class trip that was only able to get us some bread, lettuce, and tomatoes, and the kids ended up causing a scene. Great burgers though. I’m sad a lot of their menu was narrowed down a lot more since they had some good eclectic ones like a burger sandwiched between two quesadillas and a burger with peanut butter & banana. The last one sounds odd, but the combo is surprisingly well. I first discovered it at a college burger joint that put peanut butter on their burgers. I went with it because it was the most unusual thing on the menu, but it worked nicely with the char on the burger. But the food’s still great and the burgers they kept are still nice. The spicy one with breaded jalapeños or the the pecan, blue cheese, and fried onion burger were great and it’s close to downtown Fort Lauderdale so it’s a nice place to go if you need a break from the cityscape.

Instead, they’ll be getting a mouthful of his Woody.

Would this be far too distracting for the driver and put you at risk of a collision? Especially if you do it wrong?

It was heartbreaking to see this message. I was so relieved when he recovered the first time around and was able to play Frieza again. It’s infuriating how quickly his illness re-emerged after already beating it.

It might’ve been an MP3 of the Taio Cruz song “Dynamite”. Around the same time, I also bought an episode of xxxHolic on the PS3 and some DLC for Blazblue: Continuum Shift, but I’m not sure which came first. Based on release order, it was either xxxHolic or “Dynamite”.

Stargate is pretty good, but I prefer the Firefly spin-off Battlestar Galactica. Luke Skywalker is such a great character in that one.

I’ve been to Huddle House on the road, but not Waffle House. If you want waffles & coffee, they got your waffles and coffee. I think for both Houses, what they promise and deliver is purely just being a good breakfast you can get while you’re traveling. They’re not trying to roll out the XXL Double Stuffed CinnaMinion French Toast Meal like IHOP or coast off of the goodwill their signature breakfasts have like Denny’s. It’s simply a place to fill up so you don’t have to make too many stops before you make it to your destination. That, and a place to get into a fist fight with Kid Rock at.

You gotta get the dough for Midnight Mass and the Muppets special.

I watched Green Room and House (1977). I gave Green Room a good score, but it’s an ok thriller. I think I would’ve liked it more if I was told it was an action thriller. People kept saying it was horror, but it’s got more in common with Red Eye than survival horror. Now House, that was an amazing one. Love how low-budget it was so that they had to do more practical SFX for the off-the-wall psychedelic imagery. It really felt like a demented fever dream.

The good news is that we’re getting an adaptation of the visual novel where Disney villains are turned into sexy anime guys. The bad news is that they got their hands on the Tatami Galaxy sequel, so if Disney is directly involved in its production or the other shows they have, they’ll likely be sanitized.

My last apartment was like that, but instead of the Eiffel Tower, it was a Marriot.

Just started getting into Tales of games. I played Xillia years ago, but I got Vesparia and Zestiria on sale recently. Vesparia is definitely the better of the two with how the combat and story work well, and how Yuri has some fun banter with the other characters. I can tell Zestiria will eventually sour on me, but so far, I’m having a good time with it. It’s sloppy in its combat system and narrative, but I enjoy Sorey and Mikleo’s chemistry a lot. Maybe they’ll be able to salvage it.

The reviews I’ve seen of the Mr. Beast burgers were how they were undercooking or overcooking their food. But it might’ve just been where they sourced it since ours looks to be operating in a deli.

Wine is alright, but I’d take any other alcohol over it. It’s easy to tell whether you are drinking good beer or good liquor based on how much you shell out for it. With wine, it’ll either taste amazing or wretched whether you spend $9 or $500. And because it lacks consistency, you might get two bottles of the same wine that taste different. Even worse is when you get two of the same variety but because one Pinot Noir and another Pinot Noir are from different makers, they’ll also taste entirely different.

The animation looks very impressive and it’s shaping up to look cool. Imagine if all this time, all it took for Yu Suzuki to tell the entirety of his grand story was to make an anime instead of all those costly video games.
