I don't know about the very least painful, but one of the least painful spots for a tattoo is the outside of the upper arm, you know, the really common place. WARNING: Not all places on the arms have relatively little pain when getting tattooed, I learned this the hard way.

I think even wanting to cry is a strictly female thing. As males we are taught from a very early age it's not ok to cry, unless like, a very close relative dies, and even that's iffy.
