  1. I do it because if I don't I'm more likely to get nausea. I also sing Swing Low, Sweet Chariot while on the coaster.
  2. I honestly do not know. My taste buds are funny like that. Yeah, if I can't get fresh I'll buy the frozen ones and use em' as a smoothie or do a dessert with whip cream.
  3. That reminds me of the weirdos on Twitter who will dig through a person's timeline all the way back 10 years just to find something to outrage and cancel over.
  4. I love me some strawberries and blueberries. Still adjusting to the taste of raspberries and blackberries.
  5. I like both. Ebooks make it easier for me to have so many books without taking up so much space but I do like physical books for that comfy, nighttime reading under the light.
  6. I use to work as an assistant at a public library. A lot of people think it's easy work but nothing can be further from the truth. It can be very mentally exhausting. You're helping people find materials, doing research on their behalf, relaying information of the town and what's happening in the town, teaching imbeciles how to press enter on the keyboard (Funnily enough, the old people worked the computers better than the young people), people asking for help only for them to try to tell you how to do your job, parents who treat the library as a daycare center, weirdos, the crazies, and drama with the staff and above (I never imagined a library could have so much drama with the staff, managers, directors, and board members). I genuinely do like working in a library environment but it's definitely not for the timid because it's a public institution that welcomes everybody and that brings all kinds of personalities to deal with. Oh yeah, get ready for people to cuss you out or even try to fight you over having to use a library card. We use to have a filter system but it got in the way of blocking legit sites so we eventually got rid of that but the rules of obscene content still applied. We didn't look over peoples shoulders as we tried to respect their privacy but if we got wind of inappropriate material we would give patrons a warning. The worst offenders would have computer privileges revoked for a certain time period. Thankfully, we didn't have it too bad in that category. One guy was on his phone and when he stood up had an erection (he was wearing sweat pants) and another guy was watching some hardcore porn in full view of everybody on one of the desktops. Every library is different about porn on the computers. Some are very laid back and some are very strict. I'm of the personal opinion it shouldn't be watched in public libraries because the other patrons haven't given consent to be exposed to it. Sure, you can mind your business but public porn watchers can be very obnoxious and like to watch it in full view with the loudest volume in front of everyone. I'm sorry but I don't want to overhear some chick grunting and screaming during a gang bang while I try do some research on the Spanish Inquisition. Also, the porn watchers were usually creeps who would try to jackoff right there in the library. I think one of ours was a pedophile too (He got banned and died). I know I said a lot about this but I absolutely love libraries so I have a lot to say about them.
  7. You recognize you have a problem and that's the first step to making a change! Don't try to do extremes in the beginning. Your body is use to your size and habits so any sudden change is going to make it fight back. Don't also try to go cold turkey with your diet. Slowly reduce soda consumption, fast food consumption, junk food consumption, and any other foods that aren't good for your health. I would suggest avoiding low-fat because low-fat foods are loaded with sugars to make up for the lack of taste. Go for good fats and try to increase your fiber intake (Fiber will keep you fuller for longer.). Increase water consumption too. For exercise, start with simple walks. It could be a daily five minute walk. You can also do easy cardio like gentle jogging in place. I don't know what you call them but when you are sitting on the couch you can exercise your legs in those floor foot pedal machines. I can not emphasize enough taking it nice and easy at first. It has taken you a long time to get this fat and it's going to take a while to lose it. You want to start right. 1/2 pound a week is good enough and only weight yourself once a week. Pay attention to inches lost over pounds lost in the beginning. It's going to take a lot of habit changing which includes working on your personal psychology. I'd wager weight loss is 80% psychology/habit and 20% willpower. Good luck! P.S.-I'm overweight myself and currently on the road of weight loss. What I just told you is from personal experience and ten years of frustration. Feel free to adjust my advice to help yourself better and ignore the BMI chart.
  8. God bless you. You couldn't pay me $1,000,000,000 to drive school buses. I have some cousins who drive school buses and the stories they have told me...Lets just say they are some tough cookies and if it was me I'd probably have a charge or two, lol.
  9. I currently live with my mom who lives in an apartment. It's two-level so no neighbors above or below. I guess it could be called a townhouse or rowhouse based on it's design but it's listed as apartments by management. We do have some flats but not many. I should be moving out within a year or two and I plan to rent for the next several years. There would be no point in buying a home right now but I do plan to do so by the time I'm 40 in 2028. Hopefully the economy will be in a great condition by then. I don't see how you can do it. Being a landlord just seems so damn stressful. My mom's landlord manages three complexes and he looks like he could snap at any moment, lol.
  10. I just hope he washed his hands afterwards.
  11. Speaking of Amazon, I have a love and hate view of it. I love what Amazon has to offer from its services to its gadgets but I really hate how they treat their warehouse and delivery workers. I can't put 100% blame on Amazon or the internet in general for the demise of the shopping mall. Some of these malls had poor management that would charge ridiculous rent space prices and the anchor stores like Sears for example refused to update and get with the times. Have you been in a Belk's lately? A bunch of overpriced cheap crap and I think that applies to a lot of department stores too. Add in the flight from the suburbs, back to the city and the internet was just the final nail in the coffin but not the only nail.
  12. The video dropped today and I was very impressed. As I was watching the video I just knew there was going to be controversy (which Rammstein is no stranger to) and I was correct. They are already being hammered about the holocaust scene. The song and video shows us Germany from its past to its present and all of its cultural experiences and changes. My take: Being a fan of Rammstein, I'm sure they are critiquing Germany in an artistic way of irony and how the love and hate of Germany inspires love and hate in its people for Germany and each other.

  13. I'm obsessed with it! It's more nostalgia for me considering I spent so much time in malls growing up and I think that's true for a lot of viewers. I started out with Dan Bell and now I'm watching Retail Archaeology, Sal, and Ace Adventures. I also came across some old mall commercials and mall documentaries from the 80s and 90s and that was fun to watch. I'm sure my future grand kids will take elective courses in college about the mall, how it shaped the American economy, and how the American economy plus the internet put it in the ICU.
  14. Long story short, depression and anxiety turned me into a shut-in.
  15. I use cell phone and phone interchangeably. I currently have a basic cell phone and a non-service smartphone that I use for Wi-Fi access and sometimes I'll call my smartphone a smartphone or call it an Android to differentiate from my basic cell phone when needed in conversation. I think the English call theirs mobiles instead.
  16. Why? This is what Silicon Valley is funding nowadays?
  17. Your suffering is my strength.

  20. Currently, I'm watching GeographyNow.
  21. Duly noted.
