  1. Everyone posting weegee memes, I'm just over here
  2. Guys, at least make it easier for him to click on those bumpy bus rides. Try this link instead
  3. Look forward to the "Dems created another fake virus to ruin my presidency" rhetoric.
  4. Went a bit deep on this dive. This man is living quite a life..
  5. They expect Biden to be a piece of trash because that's what they voted for. They just assume they're all the same.
  6. Heckling? Maybe misinterpreted. I'm saying the only logical reason for packie to keep coming back here is because he likes the abuse. Literally nobody wants him here, nobody likes him, every response is telling him to stfu, but he keeps coming back for more. And if he wants to be abused that badly, I say he oughtta be paying for the privilege.
  7. Some people pay good money to get abused like this, and everyone's just giving it away for free.
  8. We'll just end up with more immigrants coming over for those jobs. Boy, won't that go over well..... (assuming those don't just stay away from this shitshow in the first place...)
  9. This feels like a good time to remind MD of this gem. Tell the joke again about how you don't side with animal killers.
  10. The Republican way. Forced to learn religion while they take away all free lunch plans. Kinda incredible, really, and almost makes me want to know the mental gymnastics involved for anyone to be on board with both of those plans.
  11. I don't disagree. But, consider They wouldn't have to change any of the merch branding. Also, I just remain unconvinced that at least some of the cult wouldn't happily transition to following an offspring if they made even a passing attempt to imitate the attitude and atmosphere. A Trump is a Trump, surely some will follow that piper all the way to hell.
  12. I mean.. he's got some of his kids already in that circle. Wouldn't put it past one of them taking the reigns. It'll last about as long as it takes for everyone to realize they don't have any of the cult charisma to keep the train rolling.
  13. Parents are starting to die off and they're realizing they really don't have it as well off as they expected, and, yeah, going full boomer to get those "good old days" benefits. Possibly also a dash of susceptible to covid misinformation which just set them down all the wrong holes. Maybe a sprinkle of feeling like they know better than anyone younger than them. Just kinda spitballing, no real context or anything to back those up.
  14. Sorta a little bit falls back on what I was expecting to see once Biden was elected. Somebody needs to step tf up. A nobody is going to struggle to get attention. Anyone with any sort of bad rap attached to them is almost certainly going to fail. Somebody needs to be putting themselves in front of cameras and into news to get name recognition started, get people aware of doing good (or at least bare minimum), so when nomination time comes, we're not all looking around asking "Who else is there?" or "Who even are you?" It sucks, and I really hate that it's turning out that way, it feels like taking "politician" a step behind a career (which I already hated) and turning it into a whole identity. But, it's been pretty clear for a while that a broad swathe of voters do not vote on policy, and clearly aren't aware of that things proposed in their own best interest. They're just voting on brand recognition. And Republicans have a huge lead on that front. Any chump on the street can likely name at least half a dozen potential future candidates on the right, but, if you ask them who on the left seems poised to throw their hat in the ring?
  15. This is small comfort when it means they don't have to learn anything from their losses, they can just coast on waiting until shit's fucked and expecting to win afterwards. It's at the core of why so many of the left are disillusioned with their own party. They get in on a message of actually pushing the fight, and when words fail to become action, they lose that support and are rightly kicked out on their asses. But the party fails to see that part coming, doesn't have anyone in place to step in, so they lose to a Republican by simple virtue of supporters simply having no one to vote for. The party expects everyone to vote blue no matter what. But, if that blue ain't blueing, well.. sure, they're likely not voting red.. but they're more likely to not vote at all, or gamble on a long shot, rather than support a party of failed promises. Kinda one of the key differences in party voters. One side has turned into a cult that will vote in alignment no matter what, contrasted with a party that can't follow through and doesn't have a cult following, losing support when they fail to deliver. And they fail to deliver a lot, either by over promising, inaction, or just plain complacency. A campaign of "Did you learn your lesson?" is exactly what leads us to this point.
  16. And thus Dems get an easy win and learn absolutely nothing, and the cycle repeats.
  17. I'd maybe also add a dash of being a pariah anywhere else with that behavior, so they come here where they can take a shit on the floor with zero consequences.
  18. With lyrics stuck in my head, such as: LET IT BURN, I SAY Rend it all to ash and dust For as fools we are as fuel It is our nature to combust
  19. I foresee an AOC-like ticket performing even worse than this.
  20. Stupidity got us into this mess, why shouldn't it get us out?
  21. inb4 they just move more right to appeal to what works.
