Sure, maybe, but blockchain sure as hell isn't the answer. And until we can actually cut ourselves off from burning fossil fuels for energy production, it's a heinously destructive system for no reason.

They were designed to do their specific task in literally the least efficient way possible.

one piece One Piece Episodes 521-522 Discussion

You could probably stitch together every "last time" segment in this show and still get a cohesive story in a fraction of the time. -

For all these reunions... feels awkward that Rock and Tenten are left out... -

Why do so many random shots look so poorly animated? Like, weirdly digital, like passed off on an intern or something. -

There's a reason most shows only use this gag for, like, one or two episodes. -
My conspiracy theory: A lot of those profiles are fakes to make the sites seem more populated with "normal" people than it really is.

A few of the panning shots in these episodes kinda seemed like the animation had really gotten cheaper.

Oh. There's the downside to doubling up. You can basically skip the first episode and just get caught up in the excessively long recap.

Good thing they're doubling up on these, cuz gods, shit moves slow in this.

I'm not 100% into it... but they sure went all out on the visuals. -
Favorite Electronic Music Sub-Genres + Song Recs

All the comments are about stuff this track has been in, and I'm just like, "yo I just randomly stumbled on this and it's great." And this was a super neat find to learn a little bit how synths work. -
Nope. Just this.

When I think of Cleveland, I just think of Cleveland Rocks. Which makes me think of Drew Carey. And then I end up remembering Drew Carey doing a strip tease. So. Thanks for that.

NARUTO SHIPPUDEN EPISODE 366-368 DISCUSSION
rpgamer replied to DangerMouse's topic in Episode Discussion Archive
This seems like a common problem with long running anime. Every so often, gotta have some major retcon. -
This is where my brain went. "What does she know that we don't?"

And One Piece is supposed to be one of the most popular anime shows ever, look how that turned out. -

Why you don't name your children after fictional characters
rpgamer replied to bnmjy's topic in Free-For-All
Yeah, that's not a problem with the name, that's a problem with parents not treating their kids like actual human beings. -
The big twist being that the weapons purpose-built to wage war would have no purpose when the war is over? Eh. I felt the game lacked sufficient character development. You go from "machines are the enemy" to "I guess some of them are ok" with literally no in-between. Does an awful job of establishing that tolerance. Story plays it a bit loose with "dying is fine, we've got backups" and "no don't die you'll lose who you are right now." The moon server twist wasn't as much of a shock after playing Replicant. And, in general, the whole point of everything was simply as an examination of "why are we here?" I get it. The existentialism isn't bad. It's fun to dwell on once in a while I suppose. Just, personal opinion, not something worth of all the praise heaped on it. But, maybe that's just cuz I had my fill of all deep thinking back in my 20s.

That aside, I will concede, I did really like the music. I don't think I've enjoyed a game soundtrack that much since probably FFX. But, not really a fan of the "make half a game and stretch it out by forcing players to run it twice or more" formula.
