  1. Get Clancy Brown to voice Pesto. Pretty dang sure he can do a fairly decent rendition of it without issues and it would be hilarious to have this voice as Bob's nemesis -
  2. Happy Hatchday! Got someone to get you a gift.
  3. Happy hatchday!
  4. Called it. I will eat my fancy petite fours with pinkie extended now.
  5. I was wondering why I got tagged. And now I know. And knowing is half the battle.
  6. It was okay for what it was but after a while felt overhyped. She was the Danielle Steele of Vampire porns.
  7. Vaguely jealous of both options as there is no such thing as Cheesecake Factory here and now craving chicken parm. Maybe not from Olive Garden [ local 'issues' that occurred 20 years ago still give me the nopes ].
  8. I have a friend who may or may not be devastated by this news but I only have like the first three books in the vampire series and was bored quickly by it.
  9. I thought it would blow. I'll see myself out now.
  10. Frylock NOOOO!
  11. If all the republican party is capable of is behaving like little shits 'for the lols / to trigger whoever' when confronted with the actual act of governance, then all those participating in that crap should be removed immediately from the job, by the short hairs if necessary. They are civil servants. They are there as representatives of all the people in their areas. If I want a damn clown dancing around, I'll go to the circus. If they want to play entertainer, they can go audition somewhere and make their money that way.
  12. She mentioned affordable and land enough for animals. And didn't say she was opposed to living like a ground squirrel.
  13. I can just get my coworkers hooked on corgi pics to see all the corgi pics. rpgamer probably has the same sort of potatofone I do - talk and text with no apps and it all costs like $6 a month. Some just don't need to have the world constantly shaking their butt pocket with news alerts from the FaceSpace. In North Dakota, you can buy old underground missile bunkers for fairly cheap because it costs more to demolish them than to turn them into underground homes. And I think all medical anythings are transferable right now. Too many deaths, not enough nurses. So if you want to tell all your friends that it's not winter until it's -50'F out at least once and be completely serious when saying that, come on down!
  14. If those had existed when I was little, it would have ended up looking like a cross between a shark and Beldar Conehead. I'm on my third official set of real teeth. And I don't care if those are baby teeth, they both have very slapable faces. Slap the baby teeth right out of them.
  15. Gather whippy branches and purge the store of screaming brats and their equally ill-mannered biologicals.
  16. Damnit. The one Saturday where I finally get to take a real nap and it's a Black Lotus marathon night. -.-; Not that there's anything wrong with the show per se or even marathons but dang.
  17. Get an early alert that Weird Al is going on another 'Ill-Advised Tour' and tickets go on sale on my birthday. YAY! Check the tour stops and not a single one is anywhere near me. Still going to bring up the tour at work though. My boss made fun of me for the last concert until I told him that Emo Philips was the opening act. Apparently, he is a closeted Emo fan.
  18. I remember calling them thongs. When thong underwear became a thing, it made the name of the footwear even funnier for no real good reason. And when I say I have a pair of whale thongs on the floor in the hallway, forget about it.
  19. Sponsored by Spatula City.
  20. This was the only one worth porting over since it was the only one that most people would recognize.
  21. The people at Robot Chicken are more than willing to poke fun at anything anytime, but they usually try to aim for things that are either current to the time it'll come out [ bear in mind stop motion takes time ] or is popular enough that people would still get the reference no matter how far down the line something re-aires. Examples are the Nerd pulling a Ranma 1/2, the Nerd dressing as Sailor Moon for a Halloween party, and the Sailor Moon flips that occurred in an earlier season along with pokes at Transformers and Voltron [ for those of you who consider them anime ] and definitely Pokemon. Classic long standing animes. Inuyasha was also big at the time that skit was conceived so it was worth the work. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if there are outlines for channel flips concerning Jujitsu Kaisen, One Punch Man, Food Wars, Cowboy Bebop and MHA - all of them either facepalmingly dad jokey or inappropriate because if it's in my head, someone else has it in theirs too and oh my gods the dumb in my head right now. As for [ as ] and their early bumpers towards the anime fans, it was never a hate you thing at least as far as the Bump Team then was concerned. The majority were big anime fans and things like 'cuz anime is teh s uck' were outright winks and nods to the anime fans on the boards. We all were that little niche that could back then. If you'd rather, consider every sarcastic bumper about anime to be coded love notes to the real fans that were squirreling around on the boards at the time since this was before the full impact of big social media things like MySpace and FaceBook so bumps were the means of mass communication. Since the dissolution of the boards [ and now even the chat streams and live web shows ] , bumps have mostly skewed towards things not related to programming directly but to more general things, observations, pop culture references and the like. My guess is that things like that have less filters to go through to get the go-ahead and don't have to rely on getting any now-now information that they'd need for a bump about a current program of their own other than the occasional intro if the week's crop is running light on content. It's also considered better to stick to light entertainment type bumps to give everyone watching a chance to just watch and maybe forget about whatever stressors are going on in their lives and / or the world. Basically "things sucks, we aren't here to remind you of that - so for tonight, here's a picture of a kitten wearing a Naruto headband and some cartoons to veg out to until you fall asleep" .
  22. Having read the thread, having noted that everyone who is likely to read the thread has already seen the episode, having had way too much caffeine, and having noted no one else has been so crass...yet... Delinquent Daughter Style ~ So Good Your Daddy Will Strip! *flees...
  23. I think they wanted The Critic and Duckman to be honest at one point. The adult-enough humor of both would have fit in to the late night schedule. But I think Fox still owns the rights to The Critic and if they are currently big time serious about gathering all their properties to be all exclusive like Disney is doing and Viacom is notorious for doing, The Critic is likely off the boards. And since Paramount is Viacom, Duckman was dead before [ as ] was even in a position to look at anything other than semi-free Fox reheats. I really see nothing wrong with CC having Futurama too. Family Guy would run on so many dang channels that for awhile there you could just surf from one to another for most of the afternoon into the evening watching nothing but frickin' Family Guy. It's all reheats at this point, just have the same general agreement that [ as ] had with Fox and not play on each others toes. Not that hard since CC would be in the mornings and probably the occasional weekend filler stuff while [ as ] would have it on a very specific schedule due to them needing to be on an actual schedule.
  24. In a honest society, less than the massive even-more-than-last-year military budget that seems to get a ticker tape parade from the 'party of fiscal responsibility' . At least the social programs can be audited.
  25. Honestly, good. It's entertaining background noise and does well as such even on repeats since there are enough episodes to stretch things out. Now, since this is being considered as the replacement for the loss of Family Guy, what's the replacement for Bob's Burgers since that is still coming up? Still thinking about Futurama...
