  1. They are free to provide monetary support for the server costs here. But they would have no say in content, featured threads, or the use / disuse of the banner ad space allowable here, etc. etc. because they've proven themselves incapable of actually managing any of that adequately to the betterment of the actual user base.
  2. I say that because lawyer is years and years of schooling with shit-tons of reading and research both during the schooling and for every case after. And you don't start out at the top either when you get a job. You usually end up being some other lawyer's gopher-goblin doing all their case research for them while they get all the credit. Should you actually work yourself up to partner level, you'll spend all your time worrying that your gopher-goblin is plotting to screw up a case so they can make partner. On the other hand, you can be a lawyer on a stage somewhere after however long rehearsals take. And then, you can go and be something else after that.
  3. You could be one. What's your community theater situation like?
  4. OK, now that I've seen it aired and slept and went to work and went shopping and came back here, time to post random thoughts of random! Non-spoiler hypothesis time for ye old Scare Bear. It is definitely not Brown Widow [or even Brock or Shore Leave running around for that matter] . Under the circumstances, all three of those would have gone to the hospital regardless of whatever role they might be playing. Long shots to the title would be the return of Sasquatch [non-verbal, large, understands and cares for humans but would need a costume of some kind in order to walk around - why not a murder bear creature in a city full of heroes and villains? ] , Ben 'Potter' who would have enough medical knowledge to know if trekking all over the place in the cold would be a good or bad thing, or Teddy - Dunwich Asylum inmate / burn victim / voice of 'teddy ruxpin' in the Venture-verse [teddy bear costume after all and he wouldn't be able to speak because his voice IS 'Teddy Ruxpin' and an instant giveaway] . I say long shots because while they are all possibilities [Teddy especially] , I think it's someone else that's been floating around in the background of almost every NY episode. I think Scare Bear is the Venture-verse's version of Rorschach. Which means he's the weird looking dude wandering around, often wearing a tinfoil hat and a 'Freakazoid' ripe-off t-shirt. He would know everything that is going on and be unnoticeable by most people because he's just another homeless guy. Rorschach had a 'day job' as a sidewalk doomsday weirdo and a 'night job' as a super hero which he felt was his true self. So my vote is that Scare Bear is the 'true self' of the weird homeless guy. Next - the boys aren't making snow angels. They are making Snow Monarch Butterflies. The bottom legs aren't connecting and if you look closely there are crown imprints above their heads. I don't think it's anymore than a punny thing done for the episode pimps. Semi-spoiler time just to be safe
  5. Puke on all the stinging bastards. Allergic through the roof with them.
  6. Naw, I can understand the general frustration. It's been seen and people still remember seeing it. But in the end, it's a good enough choice for this current extension experiment. Off to watch a night full of animes. Now where's my ramen?...
  7. Scare Bear is back? I haven't watched this episode yet [I watch it on the tv just like an Amish] but maybe I'll be able to post a general theory of it once I've actually seen things play out. I do know he's got a long time attachment to the Venture family because he keeps coming back.
  8. Aw, don't make the sigh face. It's a decent enough show, it has enough of a following to hold the ratings for that time slot, it's 'safe' for that time slot, and since it's already had a run-through if the Toonami slot ends up shrinking back at some point it's not something that would be completely lost mid-way through new episodes. I'd rather have an old familiar chestnut as the early lead-in than something so new / weird that people with nothing better to do start bitching about how it's destroying their daily marathon viewing of 'Teen Titans Go' .
  9. Huh, I could have sworn that the contract for the Cleveland Show was one of those 'take my crap, please' contracts that was neverending just in the hopes of pulling another Futurama with it. I hope CC got reamed on the price just on principle. My cable company dropped Comedy Central ages ago when Viacom tried to raise all their prices for all their channels. It failed and now they don't get any money at all because all their channels got axed. Considering they haven't been brought back by popular demand, I'd say there's been little demand. I only missed Spike TV for the Cops marathons anyway.
  10. Faeries. <.< >.>
  11. Clean my cat's disgusting litter box and it will be considered. Also, the birds' booger wall.
  12. Please. You're talking to someone who found this thing at frickin' Hobby Lobby today [not a Halloween decoration - it's some sort of regular metal décor thingie that happened to be on sale today when I wandered through to get some framing done] . I'm putting it on the toilet tank where it will either hold a decorative soap or a bottle of Poo-pourrie, whichever looks funnier.
  13. OKC is a dating site. It attracts enough shitheads like you that privacy in conversations is a necessity. But don't worry. I'm sure the mods there get to read every dumb shit thing you send out which means you're already living the dream of others reading your shit that aren't part of your 'convos' .
  14. Happy early Mabon to you too, ya freak.
  15. ...
  16. I've been sitting on this forever! He's always a Joker. Always.
  17. I don't think the contract had expired. And I don't see Comedy Central ponying up big bucks to snap it up like they did with Futurama and King of the Hill. I think it's just been put on the shelf for now [ or maybe it'll go into circulation on TBS ] . It's a background noise ratings show and might return at some point just for filler. I think they are trying to recapture some of their earlier lightening by returning to their own original classics and needed the room for that.
  18. If it's an honest pawn shop, they will sit on something for maybe a few days but you'll have to get that report done ASAP. If it's a pawn shop that deals with 'regulars' without ever questioning where they are getting things, you might be screwed but again, a police report would shake the worms a little.
  19. They aren't going to hire you for voiceover work. People already bitch about the screaming Asta voice and you sound like you are about to piss yourself constantly.
  20. Honestly, being closed on Sundays is the only good thing going for them. Most of their clients need a day off from the fast food [too bad they'll just drive to a BK. Or McD. Or Wendy's. Or DQ. Or....] .
  21. I have the same problem at Jimmy John's. Before I'm even through the door I'm greeted with 'Beach with pickles!' Only been to Chick-fil-a once because I was starving and wanted hot breakfast on the way to work without having to go a few blocks out of the way for a McD's grease bag [Chick-fil-a is a straight shot between home and work]. The weird little bite-sized hashbrowns were fun. Otherwise I tend to avoid the place like the plague. When they first opened, the smell of rancid chicken grease was overpowering and the lines went all the way to the dang mall turn off. The lines have died down slightly but the smell remains, even in winter.
  22. New Jersey will extradite dipshits for pedophilia charges. I'm in a state where your garbage posts are presentable as proof of attempts to corrupt minors for sexual gratification, especially since you've claimed and posted pics of you supposedly in the employ of a school system. How would you like to explain to a cellie named Wanda Buff that it was all play-acting? Because I'm sure we can make that happen and it gets plenty cold around here. Plenty of time to make that new friend while dealing with the paperwork.
  23. The only reason for doing math on your own time is boredom.
