  1. Pat is frickin' busy right now and he's the one that has the keys to doing name changes because it requires account access that's far more delicate than changing someone's avatar or sig line when they are being a dingle. Further, if you need a vacation from the boards, you leave. There are no real doors around here keeping anyone from escaping. And the only way you'll be able to handle the stresses of asshats around here is to make that decision yourself to leave for a bit without requesting being locked out all the time. Make your own choices for yourself instead of basically getting banned when things flare up. You'll feel better because you'll be taking control of yourself and your internet presence instead of leaving it to a timer.
  2. Squishy kitty goes merow. I miss purring.
  3. Because forcing someone else to smell like a shitty wet diaper is the most passive-aggressive thing possible. Projectile puke is a bonus.
  4. It's always funny when it's exactly like that. 'This is full of ancient toxins! Some yutz will pay big money for me to ship it to them in the mail because that's totally not a stinkbomb-in-waiting or anything!' I have ancient Avon lotions still sealed in their bottles. I should e-bay them for the lols and try not to think about the types of rashes the buyer is actively seeking.
  5. Honestly, the cake one is probably just a way too sweet version of regular Dew. No one drinks Cheetos. They might vomit liquid Cheeto but drinking it is a dare for stupid people. That looks like something that causes firing from both ends at the same time.
  6. The only thing I can tell you for sure about those is that if you open any of them, you'll wish for death. Once upon a very long time, my siblings and I found some old unopened cans of Schmidt in the woods. Ancient cans. Cans with hunting dogs printed on them. We decided that playing hot potato with one would be a good idea. It didn't stay airborn safely for long, hit the ground just perfectly enough to get a single pin hole in it. Which erupted in a green mist that smelled like a thousand skunks in a sauna and caused kids to run screaming in all directions. 10/10 . Would probably do again.
  7. I'm not sure but I'm guessing it's something very long, hard to pronounce and in Latin.
  8. I would like to say that this was semi-intentional and not just because of the rush job to get something programmed into the feed as soon as it was finalized. With this promo, you don't know what's coming. And that's the point. Now you'll have the people going 'whoah, seriously? holy crap!' because they have more than the title in their head currently and those who just learned of it with the announcement seeing people freaking out about it.
  9. Most dubbed anime airing currently is likely to have that sort of disclaimer attached to the start of things automatically as part of the package. That way, if it's being automatically applied to all the things, it'll also be included on new things where it definitely applies. For those that are aware it's an older show, the disclaimer is kinda funny. For those that aren't, it's a reminder that things are still kinda work-from-home with the dubbing so maybe don't cry if the newest thing doesn't get dubbed super immediately. It's a slow but steady process right now.
  10. My office is about to have a new decoration...along with a few other places because google eyes aren't sold in just packs of two... [ the handicap stall in the men's room ]
  11. Hey now, we had double digits today. Granted it was -25. But the wind made it -40'F. Damn wind.
  12. Ah, I thought maybe people were doing massive changes that were pissing off the widow and she was haunting them out of the place because of it. Who could hate a sunroom for kitties?
  13. Sounds like a fun place actually. I've never had a problem with ghosts. But I wouldn't be going buck wild changing everything in a home if it doesn't need massive renovations right off the bat [ like if the plumbing and electrical is crap, then stuff would get worked on just because everything would need to get ripped open ] .
  14. Tokyo Ghoul isn't a bad aim at all, especially if they are in need of new shows that already had a previous season's run on the block. It would still be a new show with a history, something that Netflux doesn't currently appear to have a hairy eye on, and it's 24 episodes so it's a decent length but that's the end of it. It would give them time to shore up whatever other things are still in the air without them necessarily having to do a sudden weird marathon in the middle of a month just to stretch things out. I wouldn't mind seeing :Re. I read the books, I like seeing how things are changed and how they stay the same in adaptations. Mob Psycho is also one I look forward to seeing return even though I can [ and still might ] binge it online.
  15. That's what I thought too but she is obsessed with it and her bedroom is a massive shrine to all things FNAF right now. I could have found something cool at the Con but the pumpkinhead decided to stay radio silent when I was asking for wish lists. It's like -30'F out with the wind. I'm still thawing out from the walk home and it's been an hour.
  16. They had that already. It was called 'JoJo's Bizarre Adventure'. *rimshot
  17. I know I'm old, I admit I'm old. But I have no f-ing clue what the deal is with 'Five Nights at Freddys' and that's all the oldest niecelette wants crap of. And she has a ton of crap related to it already so I can't just Hot Topic my way out of this. Why can't she want a fetal skeleton in a jar like a normal kid.
  18. You have a better chance of seeing 'Keijo!!!!!!!!' airing on [ as ] than wrestling.
  19. No, some things may have gotten locked out while everything was being worked on - either the time frame expired for a good faith contract or popularity allowed for those with the 'fuck you' money to sniper things. It doesn't mean that it will never ever ever have a shot at being on [ as ] / Toonami [ see 'King of the Hill' and 'Futurama' for examples of lost property that eventually returned ]. It just means that not very likely for a good long time. Personally, I don't care too much for streaming only places to lock down a series. Streaming is good for binges, cable is good for a scheduled break from reality. The two aren't necessarily competition when it comes to a program especially when the competition is a simple set block on Saturday nights. I'll binge something that isn't on Toonami but I tend to wait and watch the programs that are on Toonami as my scheduled break from reality / background noise to fall asleep to.
  20. Since I didn't see this mentioned anywhere, I think it's worth noting that the deal to spin off Warner Media to Discovery Inc was officially finalized recently which may account for schedule and acquisition difficulties. With things in the air, there would be any number of things that might have given companies pause to do any deals at this shaky time. Now that things are becoming more 'stable' per se, contracts should be more stable too.
  21. Do not underestimate my ability to figure out stupid crap to farm magic pennies with the least amount of labor on my part. I'm gonna make it RAIN!
  22. I was watching an in memoriam thing on the news last night and remembered thinking 'one day left, let's see if we can get through one day where someone cool doesn't punt off' . And then this happens. St. Olaf will never be the same.
  23. Penny Time! Seriously, if I'm willing to grind for frickin' tumbleweeds on a video game just to get a slight increase in a shield, fear my ability to farm pennies from a magic wallet. I'm hanging that bitch upside down over a bucket whenever I'm bored. The banks will learn to fear my wheelbarrow. Plus, good luck taxing magic pennies.
  24. Bitch is still alive. And still landing on everything and dive bombing my head when I'm online. Can't even watch cute kitten videos to unwind. Little bastard buzzes out of nowhere and lands right on kitten buttholes. I wouldn't care because I'm not watching for kitten buttholes but it's like an instant obvious living censor bar that flies up and immediately draws attention to said butthole. There's an entire screen of stuff to land on! You are skipping literal poop emoji avatars to land on kitten bums. Get off my computer screen, you weird butthole-loving freak bug.
