Tom Goes to the Mayor. I didn’t get it at first (hell, some of my coworkers at adult swim [the dot com side] didn’t care for it either). I find it hilarious now. Don’t know what changed.

I have the 2018 game but I’ve only played it once in 2020. I was furloughed during Covid and I became a short-term alcoholic, and I was pouring as much bourbon in my body as it could take. I booted up the game one day during a very drunken bender, and it gave me motion sickness, so I haven’t tried it since.

Why publicly announce you’re ignoring someone or not interacting with them, and instead just…do that?

I ended up only buying the Mass Effect game, mostly because I left my steam deck at my friend’s apartment for a week. He installed some great 3rd party software, so I am not at want.

I should hook panic up with my Dad. He bought a Steam Deck just to play Civ, and he’s got literally thousands of hours in it.

Are you able to stay asleep until your alarm goes off? It’s an impossibility for me without the use of some kind of sleep medication.

I finished Barry. It was incredible and I don’t even know what to say. It lampooned Hollywood but it was also a treatise on how obsessed we are with violence and murder in our entertainment, AND that we can enter into a much better situation but give it up frequently for our “bullshit.” So, maybe I do know what to say…anyway, it’s landmark TV. 2023 has kicked ass for good TV.

I don’t mind doing the dishes! I don’t mind cleaning the kitchen, cooking, taking out the trash, don’t mind mowing the lawn! Can’t stand weed eating. Laundry? More than a load a day, and it’s a mess. Also, the litter box.

Dennis is THE BEST sci-fi director since, well honestly I can’t think of a recent contemporary. I’ll be there opening night again, and I don’t do that anymore.

I have a four inch surgical scar going down my right foot up to he big toe from bunion surgery. The bones were described by my surgeon as “soft and grey.” They had to shave it down. I couldn’t walk for nine weeks. It’s so damn sexy.

Might get Civ 6. I truly do not need that kind of time-destroying game, but I’ve never been known for making great personal choices.
